My story
10 weeks old and we think a domestic short hair/Maine Coon mix. Those ears! Regardless, she was at Animal Control with no family terrified. She is the result of Rescues working together. She has been tested and was negative for Fel. Leukemia/FIV. She has had her 1st kitten vaccinations. She is being fostered in Tennessee, however, HEARTSLLC Rescue Transport (Google them) will bring her to one of their destinations in the New England area. Their transport fee is for kittens. Her adoption fee will be cost of Vetting. Call to speak to foster home, Debbie, for more information.

Maine Coon Cats:
The largest of the domestic cat breed, the Maine Coon can measure up to 4 feet from nose to tail tip and weigh up to 35 lbs. They are a native American breed, being the official cat of the state of Maine. They possess keen hunting instincts but are gentle giants.
These large cats have a rectangular body with a strong bone structure, a silky flowing coat and an extremely bushy tail. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns and their neck fur is ruffled. The length of their coat can be long or medium. They require minimal grooming thanks to their light undercoat and their coat is thicker during wintertime. Their fur is water resistant and their paws are big to facilitate walking in the snow.
These cats possess above-average intelligence; they’re independent, loyal and affectionate. They are very vocal and have a fascination for water.

Meet Juliet
Juliet is a quiet soul who will happily respond to the gentle touch of a kind hearted person. She will roll over on her back and zone out lounging in the afternoon sun in her kitty cozy. She&#;s good friends with everyone and she shows that by agreeably sharing her cat bed. Sometimes she&#;ll share with three other cats! (Yes! That is one big bed!) One of her best friends was Romeo (but he&#;s been adopted) a black and white Maine Coon type catalthough she still has many friends. A low key home is best for Juliet.
She often doesn&#;t show well, as she is timid with strangers. If someone was willing to work with her, she would come out of her shell. At this point, we are not able to pick her up.
