The Quarry provides an easy way to gather resources but it won’t be unlocked until later on in the game. You’ll be able to mine away to your heart’s content on this big flat plain filled with rocks. The Quarry is found in the north east corner of Stardew Valley. Here’s how to unlock it.
- Buy a JojaMart Membership for 5,000 Gold and then purchase the Bridge option to repair the bridge to the Quarry. This will cost a further 25,000 Gold.
- The second option is less expensive but will take at least a year to complete. You’ll need to collect the six bundles from the Crafts Room in the Community Center. Once you’ve done this the Junimos will fix the bridge so you can get across.
Once you have repaired the Bus Stop you’ll be able to fast travel to the Quarry whenever you like. There’s also a Mine Cart in the north east part of the Quarry.
Many of the ores you find in the Quarry are the same as those you’ll find in the Mines or the Skull Cavern. The difference is that you won’t need to travel down to deep levels of fight off monsters in the process. One bad thing about the Quarry is that the rocks will respawn gradually over time. This means you can’t come back every day to collect ores. Once you’ve cleared it out you may need to wait up to a month before coming back.

Mining plays a significant role in Stardew Valley, since it allows you to acquire a wide variety of different resources that are necessary for crafting. Not only are components like Copper and Iron required to improve your tools, they are also needed for constructing new buildings and machinery for your farm. And the only way to get these is through mining.
The vast majority of mining that players will do in the early game will take place in the Mines, but traversing the dozens upon dozens of underground floors isn’t always easy or economical. You sometimes simply require a convenient location where you can quickly mine a bunch of ore.
This is where the Stardew Valley Quarry comes into play, and this guide will show you how to actually unlock this area.
Stardew Valley Quarry Guide
Located to the southeast of the Mines in Pelican town, is a small area that is known as the Quarry. But when you first start up the game, this is completely sealed off to you due to a broken bridge.
It’s not necessary to unlock this area as your first priority, but doing so does give you quick access to a variety of different resources. Because while the Mines limit what items you can encounter on specific floors, no such limitations are placed on the Quarry. Each and every gem and ore in the game can be found in this location.
And like the Stardew Valley Greenhouse, there are two distinct ways to unlock the Quarry for yourself:
Joja Community Development Form
If players opt to purchase a 5000g JojaMart membership from the NPC Morris, then they can convert the Community Center into a Joja Warehouse and gain access to the Joja Community Development Form.
From here, they can pay an additional 25,000g to repair the broken bridge to the Quarry, but they do so while forgoing the option to repair and restore the Community Centre themselves.
This path gets you multiple upgrades quickly, but it locks you off from the best multi-stage quest that this game has to offer.
So go with the Development Form at your own discretion.
Community Center Crafts Room Bundles
The more significant and rewarding way to unlock the Quarry is to gain access to the Community Centre for yourself, and then help restore it to its former glory by completing multiple different bundles for the Junimo spirits.
The bridge repair in particular requires players to complete each of the six different bundles that have to be turned in to restore the Crafts Room. We’ll go over each of them in detail below:
Spring Foraging Bundle
This bundle requires items that can only be foraged from the outdoors in the Spring Season.
- 1 Daffodil.
- 1 Dandelion.
- 1 Leek.
- 1 Wild Horseradish.
The reward for completing this is 30 Spring Seeds.
Summer Foraging Bundle
Each of these items can only be foraged during the Summer Season.
- 1 Grape.
- 1 Spice Berry.
- 1 Sweet Pea.
30 Summer Seeds are rewarded for competing this bundle.
Fall Foraging Bundle
The following items are only seen during the Fall Season.
- 1 Blackberry.
- 1 Common Mushroom.
- 1 Hazelnut.
- 1 Wild Plum.
You receive 30 Fall Seeds upon completion of this bundle.
Winter Foraging Bundle
Since no crops grow in the Winter Season, you can spend your time foraging for these items.
- 1 Crocus.
- 1 Crystal Fruit.
- 1 Snow Yam.
- 1 Winter Root.
Completing this bundle rewards you 30 Winters Seeds.
Exotic Foraging Bundle
Unlike the previous bundles, this one requires rare items from across all four Seasons. It also requires that you travel to locations other than Pelican Town, such as the Desert.
- 1 Cactus Fruit.
- 1 Cave Carrot.
- 1 Coconut.
- 1 Maple Syrup.
- 1 Morel.
- 1 Oak Resin.
- 1 Pine Tar.
- 1 Purple Mushroom.
- 1 Red Mushroom.
5 Autumn’s Bounty dishes are given to the player as a reward for completing this bundle.
All of the previous bundles revolve around foraging consumables, but this one focuses on construction materials.
The player is given a Charcoal Kiln when this bundle is turned in.
Once each of these six bundles are turned in, the player has to go back to their home and go to sleep. When they wake up the next morning, the bridge leading to the Quarry should be completely repaired.
This has been our Stardew Valley Quarry unlock guide. It will hopefully help you unlock this useful location as soon as possible.
Repair the beach bridge - Stardew Valley
From the very beginning of the game, it is possible to repair a small broken bridge on the eastern side of the beach, south of Pelican town. It requires 300 wood, which you can get easily by cutting down around 15 trees and their stumps.
Doing so will give you access to a small island where you can forage of corals, clams, sea urchins and oysters each day! I would say most days have between 200 and 300 gold worth of sea foraging there, but it is possible to get much more on good days.
Reasons to repair the beach bridge
- Great foraging income early
- Great place to find worms (clay and artifacts)
- The Old Mariner NPC appears there
When should you repair it?
It is probably best to repair the beach bridge very early in the game, for example around the end of the first week. The additionnal foraging income is very valuable.
Gathering 300 wood isn’t too difficult as it requires less than 500 energy with the first axe. It is possible to cut a few trees each day with the energy left after planting and watering your crops, and then after a few days, you will have enough wood to make the repair.
Personally, my first priority with wood is crafting a storage chest that requires 50 wood.
Next is the beach bridge repair!
Stardew bridge repair
Bridge Repair is a possible reward in Stardew Valley for completing Community Center challenges. It is the only way to unlock access to the Quarry.
Where Is The Bridge?
The broken bridge is located in the northeast of the map. It is located just south of the entrance to the Mines and right next to the Adventurer’s Guild.
How Do I Repair The Bridge?
There are two ways that a player can repair the bridge to Quarry in Stardew Valley. However, only one option is available per playthrough. Which option for Bridge Repair the player can choose depends on whether or not they chose to sell the Community Center to the Joja Corporation or not.
Buying Bridge Repair From The Joja Corporation
If you sold the Community Center at the beginning of the game, then all you need to do is buy a JojaMart Membership from Morris for 5,000 Gold. Then, you will have the option to buy the Bridge Repair for an additional 25,000 Gold.
Getting Bridge Repair From The Community Center
If you refused to sell the Community Center early in the game, then you can get the Bridge repaired for free. to do this, you must first collect all six Bundles from the Craft Room. Afterward, you will be rewarded with the Bridge Repair. This is cheaper but takes at least a year to cmplete.
How Do I Access The Quarry?
Now that the bridge is repaired, you can freely travel to and from the Quarry. The Quarry is located in the North-East corner of the map, in the same area as the Mountain. In addition to being able to walk across the bridge, players can fast-travel to the Quarry once they have repaired the bus.
Players can also access the Quarry via the Minecart once they have repaired that.
What Is The Quarry?
The Quarry is a region in Stardew Valley. In the Quarry, players an mine ores. Most of the ores found in the Quarry are the same as the ones found in the Mines or Skull Cavern. However, in the Quarry, players do not need to fight their way through several levels of monsters to access the ores. Instead, they naturally regrow over the next few days after harvesting.

I really wanted to sleep, my eyes closed and Ivan. Immediately knocked on the compartment We are approaching Kiev. He barely had time to wash, changed his clothes and folded his things. Strangely clean on the table, there was no one in the compartment, but her smell remained, which cannot be compared with anything.
The train stopped, I was in no hurry to get off, I wanted to see Ivan.
