Pet update adopt me

Pet update adopt me DEFAULT

In this post, we're taking a look at when Adopt Me updates will be coming to the game. While we won't always know the exact date, we're trying to compile a list of likely things that will be coming soon. So, if you're curious about what is on the horizon in the game, this is the page to learn about it!

While Adopt Me used to update every Friday, they have since decided to be a bit more flexible with their release schedule. That doesn't necessarily mean they've lowered the rate of content they are coming out with, it just means they are able to put more time into certain aspects of the game. This is overall a good thing for the game and the developers behind the game!

Adopt Me Updates

Here's a look at the upcoming updates, as well as some of the past updates that were added to the game.

This Week: Fall Map Changes + Spooky Teasers

There's good news this week for Autumn enthusiasts! Uplift Games will be updating Adopt Me's world this week to reflect the fall season. There should be a whole new look the city and neighborhood with red and yellow trees, scattered leaves, and more. This update will be the foundation setting for more fall events and occasions, which will be much more aesthetically pleasing with Adopt Me turning into an Autumn village.

The update video on YouTube also teased a new area on the map to check out that promises to be eerie and get you in the Halloween mood! While not many details were given on October 11, Uplift Games said they will be back later in the week to give more details on the new area. This video later in the week also will go let players know when to expect the Halloween event.

New House + Hats

Uplift Games opens their September 27 YouTube video by telling players that while the Mid-Autumn festival has been a great celebration to have in the game, it will be leaving come Thursday, September The plane and helicopter will also be removed at that time. In the meantime, Adopt Me will add some new accessories in its September 30 update. To entice fans with the Fashion Show that will eventually come to the game, Uplift Games has decided to put some new hats in the game. For fans of Adopt Me who do not care much for fashion, they may be pleased to learn that a new Premium House will be placed in the game soon. More details on this will be revealed on September

Check out the tweet below for the Wyvern animations.

Last week Uplift Games made some changes to the Candy Cannon. But upon listening to player feedback, the studio tweaked some of the initial updates to the cannon. All established changes to the Candy Cannon are:

  • Fix made to cannon shooting backwards
  • Fix made to other players' pets claiming your candy
  • Candy is tradeable between players
  • Candy is limited to 5 pieces in player inventory

In Monday's news video, Jesse teased a surprise coming to Adopt Me this Friday, July It seems like something will go live in the game on Friday, with a video also premiering on the PlayAdoptMe YouTube channel alongside the launch. Who knows, could this surprise be the long-anticipated Mythical Egg?

New House and Wall Art

This week's Adopt Me update focuses on a new house coming to the game. All we know at the moment is that the house will allow players to implement wall art. So what exactly does this mean?

Update July 7, The Crooked House was shown off in the Wednesday video. It's got a fantasy aesthetic and a jagged, wobbly shape to the entire exterior. It can be purchased for 2, Bucks.

Wall art was also shown off in the Wednesday video, and players will be able to decorate their homes with some sweet Adopt Me artwork. In addition to the wall art, new furniture pieces will be available for purchase.

More Mythic Egg Mysteries

Last week, Uplifted Games recently tweeted a picture of the rumored Mythic Egg and Jesse fueled more speculation in the most recent update video. Jesse isn't sure how the new egg found its way inside of last week's video, but rest assured he is investigating!

The egg is covered in dragon scales, perhaps indicating the new pets will be inspired by fantasy elements similar to the Sky Castle. We're still waiting to learn more about this egg, but until then, Uplift Games will be stoking our excitement.

This Wednesday, Uplift Games will host another livestream: a space-themed Build Battle! The gang will stream the competition over on YouTube, so be sure to tune in.

Check out the video below for this week's news.

Pets were released in the June update (Summer Update); however, the 'Pets' section of the backpack was added long before that. Hatching Eggs is the primary way of unlocking pets and operate similarly to Gifts but take longer to hatch. Players can also buy some specific types of pets using Robux.pngRobux or event currencies. Pets can also be favorited by selecting them and clicking the star without holding them which causes it to equip the pet.

Ride Hyena.png

Pets can be made permanently rideable if they are given a Ride-A-Pet Potion. This Ride-A-Pet Potion is available for Robux.png; it can be bought through the 'Shop' menu or inside the Potion Shop. Players must buy a potion for every single pet that you want to make permanently rideable.

If a parent is riding a pet, the pet will grow bigger to accommodate the parent's size. If a baby is riding the pet, the pet will stay at its normal size.

Fly-A-Pet Potion

Main article: Fly-A-Pet Potion

Pets can be made permanently flyable (allowing the player to sit on the pet and fly it) if they are given a Fly-A-Pet Potion. This Potion is available for Robux.png; it can be bought through the 'Shop' menu or inside the Potion Shop. Players must buy a potion for every single pet that you want to make permanently flyable; both Fly-A-Pet and Ride-A-Pet Potions can be used on the same pet to make the pet flyable and rideable.

If a pet is in flying mode, it will grow white wings with a pink trail, unless its original state had wings (such as the Robin, Crow, Shadow Dragon, Parrot, etc.), which it will use as its "flying" wings. The Arctic Reindeer, Pet Rock, Reindeer, Ghost Bunny and Frost Fury pets do not need wings to fly and as such, don't gain any.

Neon Pets

Main article: Neon Pets

As of July 13th, , it is possible to get Neon pets. In order to do so, you must place four fully-grown pets of the same type into the slots in the Neon Cave located under the main bridge. All pets can be made neon, except non-tradable pets like the Chick, the Scoob, Pumpkin (Pet), Pet Rock, and 2D Kitty.

To make a Neon pet rideable or flyable, you will either only need one rideable/flyable pet for it, or you can alternatively feed it a Ride-A-Pet Potion or Fly-A-Pet Potion after turning them into a Neon pet.

Mega Neon Pet

Main article: Mega Neons

Mega Neon Pets are pets in Adopt Me! that were released on April 17, To get a Mega Neon pet, a player must place four fully-grown Neon pets of the same type into the slots in the Neon Cave located under the main bridge. The same with Neon pets, you only need one Neon pet to make it fly or ride, and one pet out of that Neon to be fly or ride, so really, you only need 1 out of 16 to be fly or ride. You can also feed them a Ride-A-Pet Potion or a Fly-A-Pet Potion after you transform them.

Roblox Adopt Me: Pets List

By Mina SmithUpdated

Players can collect a vast array of pets from Roblox's number one current game, Adopt Me!, in a variety of rarities and in several different ways.

Roblox is filled with tons of games that gamers can play. Roblox has scary horror games, cute games, and more. The most popular game currently is Adopt Me!, a pet-filled collectible game filled with friends for players to collect.

Updated October 7th, by Mina Smith: As Roblox's Adopt Me! continues to grow, it adds new pets that players can collect and love. Since this article was originally posted, there have been several events and new animals released that players can collect now with Mythic Eggs, which were added to the game in summer In order to keep this article as up-to-date as possible, these new mythological critters and the new egg have been added to the lists. Also, the event Adopt Me! pets were also added, as there have been quite a few in the interim.

How to Adopt Pets

There are a variety of ways to get new friends in Adopt Me! Players can nab eggs from log-in rewards, paying Robux, participating in events, and taking care of babies and pets. The amount of different pets available in the game is a long list, including everything from cats to starfish, unicorns to golden dragons, and just about any other critter players might want to collect. These cute friends have made Adopt Me! the most played game in Roblox while also breaking records.

Neon Adopt Me! Pets

Just about all of these Adopt Me! friends in Roblox can also be made into Neon and Mega Neon versions of themselves. Players just need to collect four identical pets, then bring them to the Neon Cave. The magic of the cave will turn their four normal pets into one Neon version of the pet. Mega Neons are made by combining four Neon pets together in the same cave.

Star Reward and Event Adopt Me! Pets

Star Rewards are given to players as log-in bonuses. Players can collect these stars and trade them in for in-game money, eggs, and even pets. These coveted stars appear to be rewarded almost entirely by logging in; players most likely won't get too many of these Star Rewards through Roblox Promo Codes or Adopt Me! promo codes or bucks. The pets that can be obtained from Star Rewards are:

  • Ginger Cat - Stars

Adopt Me!

For other uses, see Adoption (disambiguation).

Role-playing game on the Roblox game platform

video game

Adopt Me! is a massively multiplayer online game developed by Uplift Games on the gaming and game development platform Roblox.[2] The original focus of the game was a role-play wherein players pretended to be either a parent adopting a child, or a child getting adopted, but as the game was developed further, its focus shifted to being about adopting and caring for a variety of different virtual pets, who can be traded with other players.[3]Adopt Me! has been played a total of 20 billion times as of March [4] Uplift Games, the independent studio behind the game, employs roughly 40 people and earns 50 million dollars a year, mostly from microtransactions.[5][6] The game was averaging , concurrent players as of January , making it one of the most popular games on Roblox.[7]

A gameplay screenshot (PC version) of a player with their pet in their house

Adopt Me! revolves around adopting and caring for a variety of different types of pets, which hatch from eggs.[8] Some pets can only be purchased with Roblox's virtual currency, Robux.[9] Pets are grouped into 5 classes, based on rarity and cost. These groups are common, uncommon, rare, ultra-rare, and legendary.[10] Once hatched, pets grow from their starting status as newborns, growing up into juniors, pre-teens, teens, post-teens, and eventually becoming full-grown.[11][10] If a player has four fully grown pets of the same type, they can combine them to form a "Neon" pet, and four fully grown neon pets can be combined into a "Mega-Neon" pet.[11] Purchases within the game are facilitated both by Robux, and through Adopt Me!'s virtual currency, simply called "Bucks". Bucks can be earned by fulfilling the needs of a pet, such as eating and drinking, among other methods.[12] Players can also adopt children and roleplay with other users.[13]

Before , Adopt Me! had been solely about adopting children, in line with several earlier Roblox games with the same concept.[13] Originally, the game was a collaboration between two Roblox users who go by the usernames "Bethink" and "NewFissy".[14][15] The game added the feature of adoptable pets in , which caused the game to rapidly increase in popularity.[13]Adopt Me! had been played slightly over three billion times as of December [16] On April 1st, , Adopt Me! received an update that included a pet rock, available for a limited time. This update caused the game to achieve , concurrent players, which received attention as it was three times as much as the Steam game with the most concurrent players at that time, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.[17][16] As of July , the game had been played upwards of ten billion times.[18] In March , Adopt Me! reached 20 billion total plays.[4]

The highest number of concurrent players Adopt Me! has achieved is million.[19] Around a third of Roblox players on the Xbox One play Adopt Me!.[20] Due to the presence of microtransactions in the game and the target demographic being young children, there have been instances of children spending large amounts of money on Adopt Me!, including one particular incident where a child from Australia spent $8, AUD (US$6,) on the game.[21]

Whenever there is a major update to the game, the number of players playing can triple, which can cause platform-wide disruption on Roblox.[22]

Due to the high cost of pets within the game, with some rare pets selling for up to US$, a large subculture of scammers have risen within Adopt Me!. As the primary user base of Adopt Me! is on average younger than the rest of Roblox, they are especially susceptible to falling for scams.[23][24]

One of the most common ways in which scammers carry out their operation is through "trust trades", in which the scammer manipulates the player to trust them into trading a rare virtual item, promising to give the item back.[23] The scammer will then leave the game with the victim's virtual item, leaving the victim with no way to get it back.[25]

On November 5, , Adopt Me! released several new features focused on combating scams, including the introduction of "trade licenses" that are required to be earned before one can trade pets above uncommon rarity, the amount of pets you can trade, and the addition of viewable trade history and the addition of notifications to the player if the game detects a markedly unfair trade.[26]

Adopt Me! has received generally positive reviews from critics. PCGamesN, in an overview of what they considered the best games on Roblox, described it as "cute", and compared it positively to the Petz series.[27] Some Roblox users have criticized the game, due to it causing Roblox servers to occasionally crash when an update launches.[28]
