Chevy Silverado Torsion Bar Kit - Suspension To The Maxx

| How-To - Chassis and Suspension

Lift Or Lower Your Torsion Truck The Easy Way

Lifting or lowering a truck can sometimes take all day, get pretty costly, and require help from friends. For all of you truck owners with torsion-bar front ends on ''08 Chevy/GMC, ''05 Dodge Rams, and ''03 Ford F trucks, there is a quick and easy way to lift your rig up to 3 inches or lower it down /2 inches. Suspension Maxx has released a special torsion key with an adjustable cam inside the key for rotating the torsion bar and altering the suspension height.

The added benefit of the Suspension Maxx design is the factory-like ride quality, strength from the heat-treated alloy keys, and seven selectable ride height options. Marked with indicators inside the key, the cam can be placed in different locations to adjust the ride height.

For this story, we tracked down an '04 Chevy Silverado 4WD and added 3 inches of ride height to the truck. Out back, a small-block kit leveled the truck out. Check out the images for a detailed depiction of the install.

From The Driver Seat
All that was needed was the torsion key tool and basic handtools. The install went quickly once we got going. To be able to clear 33s without cutting the bumper for under $ is a great deal. The cam design is pretty trick and the instructions made sure we used the proper measurements. Ride quality was very similar to stock and we were impressed with the lack of bump steer. We ordered a new set of inch wheels, which were mounted inside inch tires; but they weren't delivered in time to meet this deadline. With the availability for all fullsize trucks, we expect the kits to be a valuable resource for years to come- whether lifting or lowering trucks.

" GM Front Leveling Kit - w/ Torsion Bar Suspension - 4WD

This is the SUPERLIFT Level-It inch Leveling Kit for a big list of Chevrolet and GMC Pickups & SUVs. Built from quality material; comes at a good price; it’s a simple Remove & Replace item; truck looks great & has a more aggressive stance… great review.

This # Leveling Kit fits the Chevrolet Silverado 4WD, Chevrolet Avalanche 4WD, Chevrolet Tahoe 4WD, Chevrolet Suburban 4WD, GMC Sierra 4WD, GMC Yukon 4WD and the GMC Yukon XL 4WD.

Superlift's Level-It lift systems are the perfect solution for anyone wanting an economical and easy way to eliminate the factory nose-down rake on virtually all late-model trucks and SUVs. Whether it's simply leveling the truck's stance, making the room to go up a couple of tire sizes, or plus-sizing the tire and wheel package on the vehicle, Level-It components work with factory suspension components to achieve modest ride height gains Super-EZ install.

The Chevrolet Silverado 4WD, Chevrolet Avalanche 4WD, Chevrolet Tahoe 4WD, Chevrolet Suburban 4WD, GMC Sierra 4WD, GMC Yukon 4WD and the GMC Yukon XL 4WD are all equipped with an Independent Front Suspension (IFS) with torsion bars.

In these IFS torsion bar models, the front tires attach to steering knuckles. The knuckles pivot on ball joints attach to upper & lower control arms. The upper & lower control arms position the knuckles front-to-back & side-to-side. The ‘spring’ of the suspension is a torsion bar. The torsion bars have a tremendous pre-load or ‘twist’ in them. The torsion bars are what determine the ride height of the suspension. These torsion bars have a certain amount of adjustment built into the factory system, but simply ‘cranking up’ the factory system will cause a more harsh ride.

The front of the torsion bar attaches to the lower control arm and rear attaches at a rear frame crossmember. This crossmember houses the adjuster or torsion keys. Torsion bar keys have hex-cut (or splined) holes that mate to the rear ends of the torsion bars. This adjustment takes place via a bolt that indexes on a torsion key attached to each torsion bar.

Our Level-It keys are indexed differently to increase bar rotation and lift (the center hex where the torsion bar mounts is re-indexed or rotated). As the new keys are loaded, they apply torsional load to the bars which in turn lifts the vehicle greater than that of the stock torsion keys. Ours are also designed to grab the ‘flat’ hex portion of the torsion bar for a more precise, tighter fit.

SUPERLIFT Level-It keys are improved direct replacements for the factory keys included in all these year, make & models: Chevrolet Silverado 4WD, Chevrolet Avalanche 4WD, Chevrolet Tahoe 4WD, Chevrolet Suburban 4WD, GMC Sierra 4WD, GMC Yukon 4WD and the GMC Yukon XL 4WD.

  • SUPERLIFT’S heavy-duty forged-steel construction torsion keys are 25% stronger than OEM keys.

  • Rear: None

NOTE: Special torsion bar puller tool is required to load/unload torsion bars. The puller tool is available for purchase or rental from most major automotive part stores.

Finally, his last occurrence. His burning baby entered my ass. I felt him with me, felt how he pulsates and cums in my ass. Max pulling his cock out of me, lay down on the bed with the words: I love this bitch.

The thought that I was going to shoot how my wife would have three young males made me extremely excited. I explained to the guys what was. Required of them and sent them to the bathroom. It is a pity, of course, that there is no guarantee of their health and everyone will have to be in preziks, but otherwise everything seems to work out as intended.

After all, the main goal of all this fun is to give us new sensations and pleasure.

Now discussing:

You are caring, - I said after a pause. "What's her name. Do you need it. I'll find it anyway.
