Since the beginning of World of Warcraft, the Priest class has had the most gorgeous transmog sets in the game. Blizzard has made sure that their armor is particularly shiny, especially the sets that aspire to capture the Light. And ever since transmogrification was introduced to the game, players could enjoy these glorious sets from the past!

We can all agree that the Priest transmog sets are notably thematic and true to the class. The inspiration here is clearly drawn from both real-life religions and fantasy Gods and Goddesses. And whether it’s the golden wings or the tormented saints on the shoulder pieces, they all resemble the idea of being a Priest in WoW!

True, some of these sets only fit the Holy and Discipline specializations, and some are only good for Shadow. But unlike the other cloth wearers, such as Mage and Warlock, the Priest transmog sets are diverse and unique. A Shadow Priest can transmog a Holy set and have a one-of-a-kind look and vice versa. So if you aren’t afraid to experiment with this class’s looks, you’ll end up having a blast when choosing a transmog set!

15. Kyrian Selfless Cloth Armor Set

• Collected by: completing the Kyrian story campaign in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands brought us many new beautiful transmog sets for Priest, and one of them is the Kyrian Selfless Cloth Armor Set. The Kyrian covenant seemed like a natural fit for this class in multiple aspects and many players followed it. As a reward, they received the entire gear set!

What strikes the most in the Selfless outfit is the resemblance of the Light-themed armor sets for Priest. However, this shade looks otherworldly, which is perfectly understandable because it comes from a domain of the afterlives. It speaks of servitude, purpose, values, and belief – everything that Priest stands for!

14. Sinful Gladiator’s Vestment

• Collected by: achieving 2400+ arena rating during the Shadowlands PvP season 1.

With the Sinful Gladiator’s Vestment set we have something different going on. Although the colors might fit the general appearance of this class, the design speaks of something else.

Because it could only be obtained by achieving an extremely high rating in Arena, only a handful of Priests, Mages, and Warlocks could transmog it. This makes it one of the rarest and the scariest sets in the entire game, especially when looking at the headpiece. Not too many Shadow Priests can be the proper “plaguebringers” without it!

Keep in mind that the Castle Nathria cloth set is similar to this one. You have 4 different color variations to choose from and it’s easier to collect as well.

13. Regalia of the High Priest

• Collected by: completing the Priest Order Hall Campaign from World of Warcraft: Legion.

But World of Warcraft: Legion was another expansion known for its transmog sets and cosmetics. And in its start, players could collect an armor set specifically made for their class. The Regalia of the High Priest was the official gear for Priests and most players had it by the time the initial patch was over. Not only was this set helpful early on in Legion, but it also looked gorgeous!

Golden light spreads all over the robe, shoulders, and cowl. The silver and grey elements are here to enhance this light and make it shine even more. We especially like how the headpiece fits the rest of the set and gives a sense of authority. And that’s exactly what makes this one of the best transmog sets for Priest!

12. Soulbreaker’s Ebony Vestments

• Collected by: completing the Venthyr story campaign in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

Many Priest players were happy to join the Venthyr covenant in Shadowlands instead. The Soulbreaker’s Ebony Vestments is one of the most unique armor that this class has had access to in a long time. Not to mention that it also has 4 unique color variants and they all look amazing!

If you’re a Shadow Priest main, then this is one of your must-have sets in WoW. The vampiric wings on each shoulder are the perfect addition to your Vampiric Touch. And the glowing red eyes resemble the covenant spell – Mindgames, which is one of the most terrifying abilities in PvP.

11. Attire of Piety

• Collected by: looting the gear pieces from the Hellfire Citadel raid on Normal difficulty.

How can a Priest spread his angelic presence without these silver wings? The Attire of Piety is one of the most iconic Priest transmog sets in the entire World of Warcraft. Most of this class’s abilities are graceful and elegant, just like this set.

Players could originally collect this armor by raiding the Hellfire Citadel raid from the Warlords of Draenor expansion. Here we’ve chosen the Normal version of the set, simply because it looks the most thematic of them all. But you can also go for the Heroic version which is mostly golden or the Mythic version which features demonic elements. The choice is yours!

10. Soul Priest’s Raiment

• Collected by: looting the gear pieces from the Blackrock Foundry raid on Heroic difficulty.

If there is one key feature about the Priest transmog sets then that is the Light. And while most of this class’s armor comes in gold or silver, the Soul Priest’s Raiment set from Blackrock Foundry is something else entirely. This raid gave Priests dark robes, horns, and a mysterious veil over their faces – something that a Death Priest might wear.

The Heroic version is mainly covered in dark red and rich yellow. But if you want a more terrifying look, then we highly recommend the Mythic version. There the robes are dark violet and dead birds are featured on the shoulder pieces. What more can we ask for?

9. Valorous Sanctification Regalia

• Collected by: looting the gear pieces from the Ulduar raid on 10-player Normal difficulty.

Historically, Priests have always been one of the best healers in World of Warcraft. And during the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, things were no different. The Ulduar raid brought us the Valorous Sanctification Regalia set that represents valor, courage, and persistence. The black and silver combination fits extremely well here. And the shoulder pads are infused with white light as well.

Although you can’t collect this set in one or two runs, we still recommend you to start soloing Ulduar right away. Despite the colors, this is still one of the most unique Priest transmog sets in the game, and not too many players currently own it.

8. Tyrannical Gladiator’s Satin Armor

• Collected by: purchasing the armor set from the Tyrannical Gladiator vendor in Mists of Pandaria.

And you can’t see too many Priests wearing the Tyrannical Gladiator’s Satin Armor neither. That’s such a pity because this set is simply brilliant. It’s completely covered with golden gems and scrolls, which perfectly captures what it means to be a Priest.

The most distingushing part of this armor set is the headpiece. If you’ve ever wished to look like a glorified pharaoh in World of Warcraft, then this is the outfit for you. It looks the best on races that are already tall, such as Draenei, Night Elf, or Zandalari Troll, but you can make it work on any character. Throw the Golden Lotus Tabard in the mix and you stand out in the crowd!

7. Vestments of Transcendence

• Collected by: looting the gear pieces from the Blackwing Lair raid.

And now e have a classic! The Vestments of Transcendence is one of those transmog sets for Priest that players fondly remember. It was the second set that Blizzard ever introduced for this class and it originally came from the Blackwing Lair raid in vanilla. Priests would sweat and shed tears until they collected all the gear pieces in the 40-man instance. But the reward was more than worth it!

Nowadays you can simply solo Blackwing Lair in a couple of minutes. The item drop chance isn’t the highest, but you can still have the set relatively easily. But if you love this set and want to wear it, then we recommend you farming it right away!

6. Regalia of the Cleansing Flame

• Collected by: looting the gear pieces from the Firelands raid on Normal difficulty.

Back in Cataclysm, perhaps the most memorable raid was the Firelands. And because of its name, settings, and lore, nearly all classes received armor sets with fire elements. Regalia of the Cleansing Flame was the Priest version and it succeeded in satisfying most of the player base.

We aren’t sure why, but this is the only “fire” set that Priests have in WoW. And it’s quite odd because they have a couple of abilities associated with fire, such as Holy Fire and Shadow Word: Pain. But the most important part is that you can farm this set and have a one-of-a-kind appearance for your class.

Firelands is one of the easiest raids to solo. Plus, there are two mounts to be collected from there as well. So why not start today?

5. Vestments of the Purifiier

• Collected by: looting the gear pieces from the Nighthold and Emerald Nightmare raids on Mythic difficulty.

Vestments of the Purifier is a very particular example among the transmog sets for Priest. The reason for this is that it lacks many of the key features associated with this class. In fact, the set doesn’t have any light elements and no wings either. However, it still manages to look absolutely amazing in-game, but in a very different way.

While the robe is predominantly white cloth, the shoulder pads resemble plate armor and are massive in comparison with the rest of the set. The headpiece is infused with blue light and shines all around the character’s head.

4. Vestments of Blind Absolution

• Collected by: looting the gear pieces from the Tomb of Sargeras raid on Mythic difficulty.

Vestments of Blind Absolution is one of the most legendary transmog sets for this class. First, it’s because it’s a modern rework of another legendary set from the Burning Crusade expansion – Absolution Regalia. And second, it’s because no other class in the game has light-infused faces blazing from the character’s shoulders.

The Vestments of Blind Absolution armor comes from the Tomb of Sargeras raid. And although all 4 versions of the set look brilliant, the Mythic one takes the victory here. It’s such a bright gear set and so beautifully put together that many players wear it to this day. The shoulders, the cowl, the robes… everything is just perfect!

3. Absolution Regalia

• Collected by: looting the gear pieces from the Black Temple raid.

And if you’d like the original and classic version of the previous set, then you better start farming the Absolution Regalia. This one comes from Black Temple, one of the most memorable raids in World of Warcraft.

The obvious differences between these sets are the colors and the theme. While the first set was totally dipped in the Light, the Absolution Regalia set is all about the Shadow. It’s completely dark blue, with purple light emanating from behind the hood. Fallen angels with screaming and crying faces are on both shoulders, with tortured and blindfolded eyes. All in all, an ideal set for a Shadow Priest!

2. Gilded Seraph’s Raiment

• Collected by: looting the gear pieces from the Antorus, the Burning Throne raid on Mythic difficulty.

The most glorious example among the Priest transmog sets is Gilded Seraph’s Raiment. Not only has this set fully embraced the Light, but it’s also done with gorgeous feathers all over it. The shoulder pads are golden wings, the cloak is simply magnificent, and the robe is shining as well. And on top of that, the headpiece is an actual golden crown that your character can wear.

If you want to own the Gilded Seraph’s Raiment set then you must collect it from the Antorus, the Burning Throne raid. What you see here is the Mythic version, the most glorious of them all. The 3 other variants share a similar design, but different coloring.

1. Avatar Regalia

• Collected by: looting the gear pieces from the Serpentshrine Cavern raid.

And the ultimate best transmog set for Priest in WoW is Avatar Regalia. We can talk without and end why this set takes the number one spot on our list, but frankly speaking, one picture is worth a thousand words. And one look at this set is enough to convince every Priest player about the significance of Avatar Regalia.

The whole idea of this set is to resemble an angel. Although the robe has dark grey and gold all over it, it still shines with white light. The hood comes with three distinct stars, flickering at all times. And the shoulder pads are actual wings.

The reason why this set is so important for the Priest class is that it came during a time when such sets are practically non-existent. And although the Burning Crusade gave us many interesting armor sets, none were of this caliber. Thus, the Avatar Regalia is one of the best transmog sets for Priests in WoW!

Keep in mind that you can easily obtain a darker version of this armor set by visiting the Merciless Gladiator vendor in Netherstorm.

Finally, we are able to take a look at the Necrolords Covenant Transmog sets for Shadowlands. There will be three tiers of transmog sets for each armor type.

For now we don’t know exactly how the different tiers will be obtained, but the more important thing is that the Necrolords Covenant Transmog sets look amazing.

20 The Prestige Transmog Set

Anyone that wants to actually look like an early 20th-century magician has to try out this mage transmog set. From the costume with the top hat to the wand and a bag of tricks, this combination of pieces is absolutely hilarious. It definitely suits a human or gnome best. The centerpieces of the magic mage transmog set are the Duskhaven Top Hat, Jacket, and boots, all three of which are Islands Expedition drops (BFA). The Ferocious Gladiator's Silk armor was a PVP reward way back in season 4 of Legion. Anyone that has these pieces sitting around can create an awesome build with them. This blue set looks great with a basic Blue Linen Vest, but any blue-colored chest piece will look good. Dread Aspirant's Staff is another PVP reward that looks like it was designed to match the Ferocious Gladiator's Silk armor. Complete the set with pieces that match the dark/light blue aesthetic. The Frostwind Mantle, Gloves, and Cord are Island Expedition drops (BFA). Blue Frostwind Feathers look incredible with the purple feathery Shadowmoon Robes. Likewise, Sadana's Grisly Visage is a purple skull weapon with blue eyes, which ties the look together perfectly.

This Gladiator's Silk transmog should be easy to pick up. The head and shoulder pieces can be tailored and are likely in the auction house on most servers. Gladiator's Slippers are a PVP reward through Kylo Kelwin in the Underbelly. Gamers can choose to go with any chest piece, but red or orange fit the look best. 16 Arcanoshatter Mage Transmog

The Arcanoshatter set looks particularly good on night elves and blood elves because of how big the pieces are. The Arcanoshatter Hood and Mantle in particular take up a lot of space on the character model. Both of the pieces are Blackrock Foundry drops, with the hood dropping from Kromog and the Mantle dropping from Operator Thogar. For the rest of the transmog set, players should consider the combination of black and burnt orange gear to match the Arcanoshatter aesthetic.

Venthyr mages live to be feared. Unfortunately, the Venthyr aesthetic doesn't always mesh well with a mage. Luckily, the Burnished recolor of the Soulbreaker set has blue and violet hues. The set is currently unobtainable but all pieces should be available from Venthyr quartermasters in Sinfall and more than likely require specific renown ranks for purchase as other Covenant sets do.

This transmog includes the full Soulbreaker Burnished set, from helm to slippers. It pairs well with the mythic Quarterstaff of Discordant Ethic from Spires of Ascension. Mages in this set will have all the Venthyr nobility dying for their look.

14 Custom: Oribosian Acolyte

• Abominable Visage, Gory Surgeon's Gloves, Reanimator's Mantle are from The Necrotic Wake
• Forgotten Shade's Shawl is from The Maw
• Kin-Tara's Baleful Cord, Dark Stride Footwraps, Quarterstaff of Discordant Ethic are from Spires of Ascension

The beings that reside in Oribos have a unique aesthetic that's somewhere between priestly and otherworldly. Cloth wearers have the opportunity to mimic their style with several cloth pieces throughout Shadowlands content. The silvery pieces with violet-hued cloth are best for mages.

This custom set includes Abominable Visage, Gory Surgeon's Gloves, and Reanimator's Mantle from The Necrotic Wake, and the mythic recolor of Forgotten Shade's Shawl from The Maw. Additional pieces include Kin-Tara's Baleful Cord, mythic Dark Stride Footwraps, and mythic Quarterstaff of Discordant Ethic from Spires of Ascension.

13 Custom: The Alchemist

• Confidant's Favored Cap, Shawl of the Penitent, Cinch of Infinite Tightness, Robes of the Cursed Commando are from Castle Nathria
• Bloody Surgeon's Mitts is from The Blood Furnace
• Argent Conscript's Threads is from the Argent Crusade

Mages aligned with either the Venthyr or Necrolords may find the custom The Alchemist set to their liking. It evokes the concept of a plague doctor with vials of red poison (or blood) on the shoulders and in hand.

The set includes the mythic recolors of Confidant's Favored Cap, Shawl of the Penitent, Cinch of Infinite Tightness, and Robes of the Cursed Commando (which should have red potion vials instead of blue) from Castle Nathria. Additionally, this set includes Bloody Surgeon's Mitts from The Blood Furnace, Argent Conscript's Treads from Argent Crusade Quartermasters in Icecrown, Sinful Gladiator's Crusaderblade, and Anima Infused Muck.

12 Night Courtier's Set

• Set is found at the Night Fae Renown vendor
• Warspear of the Wild Hunt is found at the Night Fae Armor vendor

Mages who dabble in Fae magics prefer sets that show their Night Fae pride. There's no better choice than the collectible transmog pieces of the Night Courtier's set. This set is a recolor of the main Night Fae set, however, it requires a significant amount of renown. The matching staff is the Warspear of the Wild Hunt from Night Fae Armor Trader Mar'lan in the sanctum area.

The gloves, waist, and wrist become available at renown rank 16 for 1500 anima each. The legs, boots, and cloak unlock at rank 26 for 3000 anima each. The shoulders, chest, and helm become available at renown 32 for 4000 anima each. All of these are available from Covenant vendors within the Heart of the Forest.

11 Vestments Of The Selfless

• Set is acquired through the Kyrian Covenant renown vendors
• Sinful Aspirant's Staff is from Purveyor Zo'Kuul in Oribos

Kyrian Mages need a priestly look to match their brethren in the heavenly realm of Bastion. What better choice than the Selfless Watcher set from the Covenant? Purchase every piece of the set from Forgelite Neptira, found in Elysian Hold. Each piece requires anima to purchase, so make sure the reservoir is high.

The Sinful Aspirant's Staff is a close match to the set. Those interested may purchase it from Purveyor Zo'kuul in Oribos for 1750 honor points. There are many staves found throughout the Shadowlands with this same model for those who prefer not to PvP.

10 Recolor: Mageweave Regalia

• Cindercloth Vest/Pants are from Tailoring
• All other parts of this build are found throughout low-level dungeons or the auction house

Although simple in aesthetics and easily obtained, all variants of the Mageweave Regalia stand out among other classic and low-level designs. The Regalia comes in red, violet, and the original black. The red recolor, in particular, is fantastic for a fire mage.

For the red set, either craft or purchase the primary pieces Cindercloth Vest and Cindercloth Pants. Then, obtain Ashwalker's Footwraps, Gloves of the High Magus, and Earthmender's Bracer of Shattering. Combine this set with Whitemane's Chapeau, Embersilk Mantle, and Glowing Brightwood Staff to make a High Inquisitor Whitemane set any mage (or priest) would be envious of. Create the Mageweave Regalia through tailoring or purchase it from the auction house.

9 Recolor: Conqueror's Kirin Tor Garb

• Set is from Ulduar raid in Wrath of the Lich King
• Requires Wayward Vanquisher tokens from the 25-man raid to purchase

The stunning, robeless Kirin Tor set from the Ulduar raid comes with a mysterious and intimidating look. The helm features a glowing, arcane eye that hovers just in front of it. Another glowing light feature beams from the domes of the shoulder pieces as if containing powerful energies.

The Kirin Tor Garb comes in Valorous and Conqueror's editions. The Valorous set has a red hue while the Conqueror's comes in a violet shade. Obtaining the Conqueror's version requires gaining all the set pieces through Wayward Vanquisher tokens from the 25-man difficulty of Ulduar.

8 Darkshore Warfront Cloth

• Acquired in the Darkshore Warfront from Battle for Azeroth
• Horde and Alliance receive different versions

The Battle for Azeroth expansion brought with it the all-new Warfronts. Although they came with problems, the sets they offer are fantastic. The cloth versions of the Darkshore sets for both Horde and Alliance are unique looks individualized for both factions.

The Alliance cloth set is reminiscent of a Night Elf priest. It comes adorned with feathers and other Kal'dorei trinkets. The female variant includes a translucent, lace-like chest piece unseen on other armors in World of Warcraft. The Horde gets a set inspired by the Plaguebringers of the Forsaken. It comes with 3D jeweled wristbands and a pointy cultist hat. The higher-end version comes with a haunting plague doctor mask, vials of glowing plague, and pointy objects galore.

7 Recolor: Valorous Frostfire Garb

• Armor pieces are from Naxxramas
• Staff of Infinite Mysteries is from Karazhan

20 The Prestige Transmog Set

Anyone that wants to actually look like an early 20th-century magician has to try out this mage transmog set. From the costume with the top hat to the wand and a bag of tricks, this combination of pieces is absolutely hilarious. It definitely suits a human or gnome best. The gloves, waist, and wrist become available at renown rank 16 for 1500 anima each. The legs, boots, and cloak unlock at rank 26 for 3000 anima each. The shoulders, chest, and helm become available at renown 32 for 4000 anima each. All of these are available from Covenant vendors within the Heart of the Forest.

Kyrian Mages need a priestly look to match their brethren in the heavenly realm of Bastion. What better choice than the Selfless Watcher set from the Covenant? Purchase every piece of the set from Forgelite Neptira, found in Elysian Hold. Each piece requires anima to purchase, so make sure the reservoir is high.

The Sinful Aspirant's Staff is a close match to the set. Those interested may purchase it from Purveyor Zo'kuul in Oribos for 1750 honor points. There are many staves found throughout the Shadowlands with this same model for those who prefer not to PvP.

10 Recolor: Mageweave Regalia

Night Fae Covenant Armor Sets

Night Fae — the personification of the forces of nature, Shepherds of the Cycle of Life and Death. Similar to Kirian they serve the cycle of death and rebirth that comes to all parts of nature. They live in Ardenweald — the mirror to the Emerald Dream. They have four different hues for armour set,  earned through a variety of activities done within Night Fae Covenant: storyline, earning Renown, progressing through the Ember Court system, or found through the travel system in the Ardenweald.
