California Faucets DAVOLI Series Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet in Oil Rubbed Bronze Named “Best of Year” Honoree from Interior Design
(Huntington Beach, CA, December 14, 2016)—For the fourth straight year, California Faucets has been recognized by Interior Design magazine’s Best of Year (BoY) Awards. This year, the DAVOLI Series Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet in Oil Rubbed Bronze was recognized as an honoree in the highly competitive kitchen fittings and fixtures category. Davoli was one of 2,016 entries from 38 different countries judged by professionals in the architecture and design industry.
This year’s celebration marked the eleventh anniversary of the prestigious award competition. Over 900 designers, architects, manufacturers, and guests gathered in New York City at the Frank Gehry-designed IAC Building on December 1, 2016. The auditorium was standing room only as the winners were announced live by Interior Design hosts Cindy Allen, editor-in-chief, and Carol Cisco, publisher.
“Once again, we are both gratified and humbled by the design and architecture community’s consistent acknowledgement of our innovative products,” says California Faucets President and CEO Jeff Silverstein. “It’s also very special for us to have products from our newly launched Kitchen Collection celebrated two years in a row,” Silverstein adds, noting that the company has won the prestigious award three of the last four and four of the last seven years.
There’s more to fine finishes than sparkling chrome, and California Faucet’s distinctive DAVOLI Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet in a rich Oil Rubbed Bronze is testament to this fact. But it’s the Italian design merging with California craftsmanship that gets the second look. And to personalize a unique look, the new faucet’s distinctive silhouette can be teamed with a choice of seven unique handles in an array of designs, ranging from modern to classic, which even includes a handle made of Swarovski® Crystal for a little extra bling.
While DAVOLI in Oil Rubbed Bronze received the nod from Interior Design, like all the faucets in The Kitchen Collection by California Faucets, the design offers more than 30 artisan finishes. Combined with the ability to tailor the handle style, this built-in flexibility breaks down boundaries in the realm of customization, giving designers the freedom they’re looking for to achieve their unique vision.
But no matter which handle or finish you choose, the DAVOLI puts a fresh, contemporary spin on classic style, all while standing up to the rigorous demands of the hardworking sink area. This is made easier with its one-button toggling between spray modes.
Prior to this year’s honoree recognition, California Faucets received the BoY award in 2015 for the Corsano™ Culinary Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet; in 2014 for ZeroDrain® “pop-down” sink drain; in 2013 for StyleDrain® Tile – a drain that allows the inlay of matching tile; in 2010 for CeraLine® channel drain; and the company also received a merit award in 2009 for its groundbreaking StyleDrain®, which was the industry’s first ever decorative drain and created the now popular luxury drain category.
The DAVOLI Series Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet in Oil Rubbed Bronze is priced at $1,094.

Benefits Of Using Bronze Kitchen Faucets
Homes these days look a lot different from how they did 20 or 30 years ago. Once a kitchen faucet was nothing more than a simple, practical device, but now manufacturers have designed them to be attractive elements in a kitchen’s décor. Buyers now have plenty of options. There are many different faucets out there, from simple two-handled fixtures to one-handled and even bar, bridge and touchless faucets.
Manufacturers have presented homeowners with a whole range of options when it comes to faucets. One of the most sought-after materials is bronze, and I really think you should give it some consideration. If you’re looking for ambiance, you can’t go wrong with a bronze finish. The color and sheen will add warmth and life to your kitchen décor. But bronze is not just a pretty color; it’s also got some serious practical benefits to offer, too.
A bronze faucet will have a longer life span than most others. Of course, this isn’t true if the faucet is simply plated with a thin layer of bronze. Look for a faucet that is constructed of brass rather than a stainless steel faucet that has been coated with a thin layer of bronze. There’s no way to know how thick that bronze actually is until you wait several months and it starts to deteriorate.
With bronze you’ll find plenty of variety. Whether you choose a one or two-handled faucet, you’ll have plenty of models to choose from. Designs range from vintage to contemporary – in fact, bronze allows you to combine an element of both in the same faucet.
A Touch of Class
Typically, bronze kitchen faucets look high-end and will add a touch of luxury to your décor. It’s not easy to say what exactly gives bronze this expensive look, but it’s probably a combination of the color and the finish, as well as the design. The hardest part is making a decision – you may wish you could buy them all! Just keep your kitchen décor in mind while you shop around, and keep asking yourself which one would fit in the best.
The only downside to bronze is that it tends to cost more than other materials. But when you take into account the appearance and the quality, the extra money is worth it.
