1st Gen 4Runner/ 2nd Gen Pickup High Clearance Front Bumper Kit

Bumper assembly

As for welding, with everything designed using CAD software and then CNC laser-cut to size, the pieces fit together perfectly and this makes for a very simple assembly process. All kits come with detailed instructions with plenty of clearly labelled diagrams that are made using cutting-edge CAD software. This bumper kit is well within the ability of a novice welder and many customers have purchased it as their very first welding project with great results! This is made possible by the clean parts fit-ups and thick material. These are two factors that make welding significantly easier. Welding is one of those skills that is easier to learn than you may think and once you can do it, you&#;ll wonder how you ever got by without it. Alternatively, many individuals buy the kits and then have a local welder assemble it for them. Even in this case, it typically ends up being less expensive than buying a pre-fabricated bumper &#; especially after considering the lower shipping costs of our kits vs. fully assembled bumpers.

Bumper weight

Steel base bumper weight: 77lbs
Aluminum base bumper weight: 39lbs

Shipping

Forget the outrageous lead times of many bumper options that are measured in months. All of our bumper kits ship within business days with 2-day shipping

1st Gen: Front Bumper Options

It's time for a new front bumper. What are my options?

This thread is interesting:
Weld together front bumper kit?
I like the look, but haven't been able to get any feedback from anyone here if they've done it and like it.

Certainly don't want anything too bulky. The threads of my rear bumper might give an idea of what I like:
http://www.toyota-4runner.org/accessy-1st-gen.html
and
1st Gen Custom Bumper/Receiver Hitch

So what can/should I put on my T4R?

Thx,
Jon

I have never been a fan of a bulky bumper on a small vehicle. I think if you wanted to use something other than a tube bumper, you should build or buy something that is almost like a minimalist design like your rear bumper. I don't know of any off the top of my head but do a search on pirate 4x4 and there is a thread that has a ton of home built front and rear bumpers. I say build your own if you have the ability to. I appreciate and respect one off home built bumpers that compliment the vehicle and serves a purpose.

Agreed! their bumpers are very tough and still have a good finished look to them that compliment the vehicle.

Anyone have the Addicted on their 1st Gen?
Have decent photos to share that I could get ideas from?

I suppose I should just design my own and find someone to help me build it. As we say in motorcycling, it's not the destination but the journey. I think the process might be fun. It would help me scratch the creative itch I get from time to time.

I have an Addicted bumper as well. Great price, they made quick and got it to me even quicker. Very satisfied by their customer service and quality. (sorry these are the only good pictures I have of the front)

Thanks guys. Nice looking rigs.

Has anyone done anything with square tubing?
I'm not a huge fan of the round tube look (as you might guess from my rear bumper). I like the angles of the CBI but would like to cut done on the bulk a bit. It would be great if I could work in square tubing for a consistent look.

Thx,
Jon

You could always see if a local can fab something up for you. A lot of the tube style bumpers are going to run around the same price, but check out Addictedoffroad.com. They have a front with no stinger for

Oh lol. Yeah TG is alright, addicted offroad is also good. Check out some of the vendors on Yotatech.com. A lot of great product on the market. I have an ARB, but only because it came with my truck, I would never pay the $$$ for one.

I may decide to sell mine, but those are pretty heavy to ship. Where do you live?

If you're interested in something like this, I have a brand new one powder coated black. It's made by Downey Offroad. If you like it, we can talk price. I live in So. Cal. also.

ARB front bumper

That's pretty nice, but I really like the ARB bumpers. I'm in Arkansas , area code I know the bumper is heavy and that shipping could be high, but I'm still interested.

Thanks for your interest, but I'm afraid shipping would be cost prohibitive. Looking for local sale. Good luck with finding the right bumper. . .

I thought she was close to orgasm. At this time, her crazy tongue penetrated into my ear and I lost the ability to think for a while. All the same, out of the corner of my eye, I began to notice that passing cars began to slow down somehow, catching up with.

From the corner of his lips, a thick, snow-white lump of seed crawled onto his chin. And then Ira fell in a kiss to his lips - they kissed, smearing my sperm on each other's face.

I was surprised that Lena takes it so calmly and did not tell me about it. But, looking closer, I realized that his hands were not touching hers.
