General Information:

  • Online Advancement courses are:
    • only available for students who have completed 8th grade and desire to complete high school credits. These are not available for students in middle school or elementary grade levels
    • on-level courses. None of these courses are advanced or dual credit courses, and as a result, students will NOT receive weighted credit when they are completed.
    • generally intended for for students who
      • are seeking to graduate early and wish to accumulate credits in an accelerated manner for that purpose.
      • desire to take more electives or extracurricular activities within their class schedule and therefore wish to free up availability by completing required courses online. 
  • Students must consult their counselor before registering for classes to ensure that they are signing up for courses that will meet their desired needs.


Course Fees for Lubbock ISD Online School:

  • Lubbock ISD Students -- $50 per semester course
  • Lubbock ISD Students on Free/Reduced Lunch Program -- $20 per semester course (must choose "waiver confirmed" on the registration form)
  • Out-of-District Students -- $125 per semester course
  • Late Registration -- $25 late fee per semester course


Types of Payments Accepted:

Before any payments are made, students MUST complete the online registration process so that their information can be collected before the payment is made. It is the registration form information that MUST be completed during the open registration timeframe - not the payment. 

  • Pay Now -- Allows you to make payment by Credit/Debit card -- Must be made online during the registration timeframe
  • Pay Later
    • Check made out to Lubbock ISD Online and mailed to the Advanced Academics Office with student name noted on the check - address below
    • ***Due to Social Distancing practices in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person payments will not be accepted until further notice.  You may pay online using a credit card using the "Pay Now" option during the registration process.  However, if you need to pay by check, please mail payment to the address below.

  • have a student(s) that already attends Lubbock ISD
  • wish to register Lubbock ISD
  • HAVE NOT already created an account in Gradebook

will need to firstregister for a Gradebook account which can be found on the Lubbock ISD website under the Parents channel.

Information Needed When Creating a Gradebook Account

  • Student’s local ID number (one thousand number)
    • The local ID number may be found on the student report card or at the campus
  • Social security number or state ID number

After creating a Gradebook account, registration for the 2021-2022 school year may begin by following the directions below.

How to Register for Lubbock ISD

  • Log in to the Gradebook portal using username and password.
  • Click on student name.
  • Click the Registration tab - the last tab along the top.
  • Click Continue to Online Registration.
  • Select student name to begin registration OR
  • Select Create New Student to register any student that is brand new to Lubbock ISD.
  • Registration will need to be completed for each student.
  • Gradebook passwords can be changed on the landing page.
  • Forgotten Gradebook passwords can be reset on the landing page.
  • Families should contact the campus to retrieve forgotten Gradebook usernames and for password hints.
  • The following forms (any that are applicable) will be filled out every year and are a part of the registration process:
    • Migrant form
    • Student Residency Questionnaire form
    • Socioeconomic Information form
    • Foster Care form
    • Military Connected form

will proceed to the Registration portal found on the Lubbock ISD website under the Parents channel.

How to register for Lubbock ISD

  • Select Register New User at the bottom of the screen.
  • Fill in contact information and click Submit.
  • Create a username and password.
    • Be sure to make a note of username and password as these credentials are also used for access to the Lubbock ISD Gradebook.
  • Log in to the Registration portal using the newly created username and password.
  • Select Create New Student and complete registration information.
  • The following forms (any that are applicable) will be filled out every year and are a part of the registration process:
    • Migrant form
    • Student Residency Questionnaire form
    • Socioeconomic Information form
    • Foster Care form
    • Military Connected form
  • After a student’s registration has been completed, a confirmation page will display that may be printed.
  • Users may select to register another student or log out.
  • All information is saved; therefore, users may log in with their username and password to complete registration at any time.

After completing registration, bring the following items to the campus

  • Official birth certificate
  • Social Security card (if available)
  • Immunization record
  • Proof of address

Count Me In! is Lubbock ISD's online registration campaign for the 2018-2019 school year.

Lubbock ISD has made going back to school easier for returning and new-to-district families with online registration. Families will complete required registration online. We are excited about the opportunity to partner with families to provide a high-quality education for students.

Registering students online will eliminate the need for multiple paper forms, ensure efficient classroom and course placement and give students a smooth start on the first day of school.

Please note, students should be enrolled by a parent, guardian or a person with control under a court order. For more information, contact the student’s campus.

PreKindergarten & Kindergarten Registration NOW OPEN

TheFIRST STEP in registering your child is to complete the online registration at Once you have registered online, someone will contact you to set up a time for your enrollment appointment and for you to turn in your documents.

Please bring the following items with you to your enrollment appointment: your child's birth certificate, immunization record, and social security card (if available); your address verification and any qualifying documents (last 3 months income, TANF/SSI documentation, Foster Care paperwork, Military ID or paperwork, etc.)


 A child's space at a campus is not guaranteed until online registration, document verification, and an eligibility appointment have all been completed.


If you wish to request a transfer to a school besides your home campus, please complete the online registration first and then enter the transfer request. Please note: the transfer deadline of January 29th does not apply to PreK transfers. PreK transfers will open on April 9th.

Prekindergarten classrooms on some campuses fill up very quickly. In order to have the best chance of your child being accepted at the desired campus, it is very important that you complete online registration and transfer requests (if applicable) by midnight on April 9.
