Crash Reports
The department has partnered with CARFAX to make all investigated crash reports from June 2018 forward available for access (24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year) via CRASHDOCS.ORG. The cost is $15.00 per report and depending on the severity of the crash, they are usually available 5-7 business days after the accident was investigated. Safety Reminder - Refrigerators
Residents are reminded that it is a violation of the Pennsylvania Crimes Code (Title 18, Section 6502) to discard a refrigerator or icebox, with a capacity of 1.5 cubic feet or more, with the door or lid still attached, in any place that is accessible to children. The SCCRPD has investigated four violations of this law in recent weeks. With warmer weather upon us, more children will be playing outside and these appliances can make tempting hiding spots.

Help Support Area Youth
The Garage Community & Youth Center was a vacant car garage until 2001, when a local business leader and youth pastor envisioned its roof sheltering something far more valuable than vehicles. Police reports county chester
The Southern Chester County Regional Police Department is committed to being accessible to residents. To that end, we offer the following services to help us accomplish this objective:
Ride-Along/With a Police Officer
Upon request, the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department will permit an adult with an interest in law enforcement to perform a ride-along with a police officer. To begin the process, stop in at our office or click on the attached Ride-Along form. Your request must be accompanied by a waiver of liability and signed acknowledgements. The ride-along event will only be scheduled after a review and approval by the Chief of Police.
Guest Speakers/Requests
With a minimum 14-day notice, the police department will provide a police officer to speak at your meeting on a public safety topic.
Building Tours and Static Displays
Upon request, the Southern Chester County Police Department will conduct a building tour and/or static display of police equipment for youth or adult group. To schedule, please contact the Chief of Police at 610-268-2907, extension 105.
Community Appearances
If you have a community event where you would like a police officer to make an appearance, please contact the Chief of Police at 610-268-2907, extension 105. Depending on staffing levels and other factors the police department will take your request into consideration and try to assist.
National Take-Back Initiative
The Southern Chester County Police Department partners with our Federal stakeholders, the Drug Enforcement Administration on their effort to take back prescription drugs. The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposal, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of these medications.
