Floribama Shore

Floribama Shore is an American reality television series that premiered on MTV on November 27, 2017 in the United States. It is a successor to Jersey Shore. The location of the show is set in the Florida Panhandle along the beach that stretches all the way to Alabama. Floribama Shore documents eight young adults who live together during the summer on the Gulf Coast in Panama City Beach, Florida. They are filmed partying, working, living in a new environment, and bonding.[1] On January 8, 2018, MTV renewed the series for a second season, which premiered on July 9, 2018.[2][3] On June 11, 2019, the series was renewed for a third season, which premiered on November 14, 2019, with a location change to St. Pete Beach, Florida.[4][5] A fourth season was announced on January 26, 2021 and premiered on February 25, 2021.[6] The season saw two new locations for the series (Missoula, Montana and Lake Havasu City, Arizona). The second part of season 4 premiered on September 16, 2021.[7]

Filming primarily takes place in Florida with the first two seasons of the show in Panama City Beach and the third in St. Pete Beach. Due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, the fourth season saw a location change to Missoula, Montana and Lake Havasu City, Arizona.[8]

The series was renewed for a second season on January 8, 2018, ahead of the first season finale. The season ran for 26 episodes despite an initial 20-episode order.[2][3] The series was renewed for a third season on June 11, 2019.[9][5] The fourth season was announced on January 26, 2021.[10]

In November 2020, production of the fourth season halted for two weeks due to a production team member testing positive for COVID-19.[11] This resulted in the housemates being sent home early. The events were displayed in the episode "Exposed".
