Posted in Michigan June 21, 2017by Sophie Boudreau

Summertime is in full swing here in Michigan, and you know what that means: the 4th of July is nearly upon us. With so many beautiful spots to celebrate throughout the Great Lakes State, perhaps you’re asking yourself, “Where can I find awesome fireworks near me this 4th of July?” Well, you’ve come to the right place! In both 2015 and 2016, we featured some of the state’s best fireworks displays. This year, we’ve compiled five of our favorite spots to enjoy Independence Day, along with a complete list of fireworks shows by county. Get ready to celebrate!

During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.

This exciting celebration will take place a few days before the 4th itself, but don’t let that stop you from checking it out! Walk along the lovely Detroit River, catch marvelous city skyline views, watch live performances, and snack on classic carnival food as you await the big show. The fireworks kick off at 9:55 PM at Hart Plaza on June 26.

Celebrate the wonderful summer holiday with a journey to Kollen Park, located on Lake Macatawa in the charming town of Holland. You’ll enjoy live music and plenty of family-friendly activities to keep you entertained while you wait for the fireworks display to begin. The show will kick off at 10:00 PM on the 4th — but we recommend arriving early to snag a great seat!

The Traverse City area is one of Michigan’s most stunning regions, and its beauty is only enhanced with the excitement of a sparkling fireworks display. Catch prime views of the celebration from along the West Bay shoreline and prepare to have an unforgettable Independence Day. The show begins promptly at 10:30 PM on the 4th.

Make the journey to Mackinac Island for a one-of-a-kind 4th of July extravaganza. In the days leading up to the 4th, you’ll find all sorts of fun activities to enjoy — from a stone-skipping competition to carnival rides. We recommend catching the fireworks from Windermere Point. The display kicks off at dusk on the 4th.

Lansing Area

I received an email from a reader, Karen, who lives in Delta Township near Lansing. She was looking for a parade in her area on the Fourth of July. This is what I found. If you have another idea, add it to the comments section.

As for parades, all I could find is the Lansing Parade, which is at 11 a.m. July 4:

Capitol Ave Celebrate Independence Day with a parade featuring antique and specialty automobiles, musicians, dance troupes, community groups, military units and more!

Lansing Fireworks at 10:00pm July 4.

Where: Adado Riverfront Park

As for Delta Township, I think there is only a Fireworks Display:

Delta Township's Fireworks Display is held at Sharp Park on July 3 every year.

Arbor 2017 ann fireworks

Apparently all of our file photos of fireworks images were actually Vines and they disappeared. Here's a graph showing fireworks related air pollution from our good friends at NOAA.

A new Ann Arbor resident asked /r/annarbor where the best local fireworks display is. The days of Ann Arbor's municipal fireworks show ended long ago and the discussion centered around which neighborhood has the best unofficial fireworks show. According to the redditors suggested Hunt Park and Burns Park have good fireworks displays on the 4th. I know there's usually a good show at Maryfield Wildwood Park on Ann Arbor's west side too. Gentle readers, where are your favorite neighborhood fireworks shows? Are there any in Ypsilanti? Since we are living in this libertarian-fireworks-hellscape, we might as well enjoy it, right?

WATCH: Ford Fireworks 2017

It gives me the energy to try further to give this handsome man an orgasm - although he does not need one - I need his orgasm. Clearly understood that now more than anything in the world I want him to fill my mouth with his sperm, I want the ego seed to be behind my cheeks, to be on my face, flow down my neck down through the neckline of the robe to my tits.

Now I clearly understood why some women like to do blowjobs - at such moments you are ready to give such a beautiful, huge, hard, warm, tasty. Penis all of you and, ready to accept, a portion of delicious sperm from your owner.
