Cons: "I was really surprised that economy seats were not blocked off for COVID. They are tight enough as it is and I used SkyMiles to upgrade my seat and sat in a seat that was no different from economy and sat next to someone as well."
Pros: "That i was able to watch movies, snacks were provided and water"
Cons: "Nothing really!"
Cons: "Everything was great"
Pros: "My favorite airline to travel from Denver to Puerto Rico, round trip, and in Atlanta I will make the stopover, I also feel so safer to travel with my cat ... they are the best airline in everything"
Cons: "Let people who travel with pets earn extra points for taking them with Delta"
Cons: "Broken tray table literally off its hinges and unusable."
Cons: "No social distancing at all while boarding and exiting the plane you must keeplpeople in their seats !!! I love your airline although I usually just pick the best deal but it’s always a pleasure when that option is also delta"
Pros: "Customer service"
Cons: "If was cheaper to Checked baggage"
Pros: "The flight was on time"
Cons: "too crowded"
Pros: "Delay with boarding"
Cons: "No ear plugs offered and my iPhone jack didn’t fit."
Pros: "The crew did a mediocre job of keeping us informed as to the delay of takeoff."
Cons: "There was some type of mechanical or electric issue that delayed our flight by 30 minutes or so, which is unwelcome for a flight that late at night."
Pros: "The sanitizing of the aircraft was beyond expectations. The personal wipes were a plus so we could clean the areas around our seats to our satisfaction. The individual snack bags are a great idea to minimize handling."
Pros: "Flight was smooth and amazing"
Pros: "The pilot kept us updated."
Cons: "Nothing all excellent"
Cons: "See previous"
Pros: "Crew amazing, seat not too comfy"
Cons: "Sits uncomfortable"
Pros: "Crew was night seat sucked plane was cramped"
Cons: "My sister’s checked in luggage was in poor shape when we got it in Albany. We noticed an outside compartment was unzipped. So we checked to see if anything was missing and a souvenir from Mexico was gone. Then we realized a zipper was missing from the luggage and then decided to check all the other compartments and realized her bag of jewelry was gone. The woman at baggage services in Albany told us Delta is not responsible for lost belongings. Also tried to tell us theft is not an issue because there are cameras everywhere. Well you are telling someone that is missing a bag of jewelry that theft is not a problem. Also, there may be cameras everywhere but I doubt anyone is going to review those cameras to see what happened. I will never fly Delta again."
Cons: "A lot of turbulence"
Cons: "No option to watch movies"
Pros: "Crew was excellent, seats are never excellent"
Cons: "Had to collect & re check luggage between flights. Couldn't they have been transferred to the next aircraft?"
Pros: "The crew was excellent"
Cons: "We had mechanical problems and had to come back to Atlanta, get off our plane and get on another one"
Pros: "Food was decent and crew were nice enough"
Cons: "Seat space was small and cramped. Entertainment was poor unfortunately"
Cons: "we began the boarding process late, which can be understandable, although the plane was there pretty early. Once the boarding began, someone, I presume the gate agent, essentially gave a countdown to hhow many minutes were left until the flight could have an "on time departure". I travel nearly every week so I value being on time. However, a minute by minute call to hurry up on a flight that was sold out was over the top. There was mumbling among the passengers, to the point of someone joking "Free cookies and water if we make it on time?" Just a bad gate experience, but bad enough that peopoe were commenting, and I waited for someone from the cockpit to del\part so I could mention it to them."
Cons: "1/12 hours late had to change out equipment"
Pros: "I like that I was able to request a window seat and was obliged to get another one."
Cons: "My flight was cancelled and I had anxiety about being at my destinations on time because I had to travel another hour away without knowing if my ride would be able to wait for me. However, I was booked on another plane that wasn't damaged which got me there on time, but once I arrived my luggage was no where to be found. I was promised my luggage on the same day,but I didn't get it until 11:30pm that night from a 2:40pm flight. I had to go out and spend money on toiletries, night wear and my medicine because of not having my luggage. Just totally disgusted by the overall experience and wouldn't wish it on anyone."
Pros: "Efficient boarding"
Pros: "Nice equipment for the ride and pleasant staff"
Pros: "I flew on a basic economy fare (I understand the restrictions) and was seated in Economy Comfort +, so that was appreciated."
Cons: "I could see on the Fly Delta app that I had been placed in seat 10B, but neither the app nor my boarding pass gave me a group to board with, so I assumed that I needed to board with group 3, which necessitated gate-checking my rollerboard bag. Only when I approached the gate to board did I notice on the info screen that I had been "upgraded" to Comfort + and granted boarding with the Sky Priority group. I wish this had been clearer so I could have avoided waiting to board and gate-checking my bag. Minor inconvenience but room for improvement on Delta's part."
Pros: "Nice flight and good staff and service"
Pros: "The crew went out of their way to make sure they got the plane ready as quickly as possible and get us to Jacksonville as quickly as possible."
Cons: "Delta lost the plane for over an hour. After already spending 10 hours in ATL because of an earlier delay due to human error I was extremely disappointed in Delta that my flight out of Atlanta was delayed by an hour because they LOST the plane and couldn’t find it or the truck to bring it to the gate. This kind of error on Xmas eve is embarrassing. Delta didn’t do anything for the passengers affected by this. I was dumbstruck by the apathy of the Delta employees at the gate (the exception was the flight crew, who tried to get the aircraft there earlier). Because Delta did nothing but make error after error I arrived at home 11 hours later than my original flight was booked for on Christmas Eve, missing Christmas Eve Services and family traditions. When I need to get somewhere on time I’ll never rely on Delta after this experience."
Pros: "Quick and easy boarding. Quick flight"
Cons: "Audio entertainment quite limited"
Cons: "I has nothing to do with the flight it self! The original fight was cancelled from Minneapolis to Atlanta (with no notice) I found this out by calling!! I was told a confirmation of a new flight was going to be email once the request from the support had been approved (the email confirmation was never received). I was also instructed multiple times to not show at the airport unless I had receive the confirmation. I was up most of the night waiting for this confirmation that never came!! I received an email this morning letting me know the fight from ALT to Mexico had been delay!! When I opened it to view the itinerary it showed she had been booked for the am fight at 6:30 am! after spending another hour and 35 minutes on the phone your support team could not find a fight until Dec.21!! Not to mention the accepted they had problems with their email system and phones, but asked why didn't I called, mmm I was on the phone for the 3rd time!!!! I am very, very disappointed!! Not a discount was offer or a fight the next day even when I was checking an flights were available!!! Here is the other part,,Rosa came all the way from Mexico to care for her ill sister for the last 2 1/2 months, all she asked was to be able to be back home for the holidays!! Your team insisted on scheduling a flight for next week or a full refund!! This was not a money matter!! It's about getting some one home for the Holidays who has helped a ill person during the most vulnerable time in her life!!"
Pros: "Staff were friendly and worked hard."
Cons: "Seats were very basic and not as good as the low cost carrier I normally fly out of the UK. Very old and noisy aircraft. Seemed little control over how much hand luggage passengers were bringing onto the aircraft."
Pros: "Free WiFi"
Pros: "More seat room than expected for economy tickets. Good service, on time, polite staff"
Cons: "Duty free purchases not waiting for us at boarding like usual. Audio selection on entertainment was v poor"
Pros: "The Delta people were solicitous, efficient and brilliant the whole way through. We had not a bit of trouble. Our first class seats were comfortable, but with the supplied blanket, pillow and poor air conditioning it was a hot flight. The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Cons: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."
Cons: "Plane was supposed to depart at 9:09pm. An announcement was made that in Atlanta which is Delta hub, there were no flight attendants for the flight so we had to wait for another crew to fly in. That's just unporfessiknal. To make matters worse, the gate agents didn't make announcements even if just to say we know this isn't good and we will update you asap even if just to tell you we are still waiting on word. Total silence and seeing the gate agents laugh and talk amongst each other was pretty bad."
Cons: "My flight from ATL to BWI was horrible. It was not a Delta plane. Possibly borrowed from SpiritAirlines, which is an airline I will never fly again even if offered a free flight. That's how strongly I feel about their planes and service. I was seated in a 2across row where the seats were small and my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me the entire flight. I'll grant you I am a big girl at 6' 250 however the first leg of my flight from FLL to ATL which WAS on a Delta plane, was fine. I did not feel smashed into the seat. For the money, I feel like I am due more than being locked into the seat unable to move more than 1/2 inch for an entire flight. Thankfully the flight was under 2 hours."
Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."
Pros: "lte leaving Houston, cancelled flight back from Atlanta, reset to 3 hrs later, wound up leaving 12 hrs later."
Cons: "Sat in Delta Comfort and a loyal Delta flier, except had the bad fortune of taking off at 830 ATL time and apparently Delta doesn't find it important or a good idea to sell food after that time. The logic behind this is beyond me. I'm willing to pay $9 for a few cheese slice and crackers or a sandwich yet they don't offer anything, not even to first class which would really irritate me had I paid 1000 bucks. Ontop of that the crew which is normally excellent, was feisty and rude and wanted nothing to do with their job"
Pros: "Clean plane, good service. on time departure, early arrival."
Cons: "I did not like the way the plane was boarded- people could not get into their seats because others blocked the aisles - so chaotic. Passengers were not being rude to one another, it was simply that the process is poor. Could the zones instead reflect both location of seat and area of plane, so that those with window seats at the back board first, then middle seats, then aisle? That way if aisle seats fill first, seated people are not stepping back into the aisle to accommodate others needing to get a seat in that row, while everyone on the gang way must wait for the aisle to clear."
Pros: "Length of flight was good, one of the flight attendants was very nice"
Cons: "Flight attendant arguing and having words with a passenger BEFORE the flight even took off was very alarming, the attendant had walked past the seat, we saw her face change, she halted and walked back to the passenger and a very heated and negative exchange ensued, then another flight attendant came out and threatened to evict the passenger from the flight, this was before the flight even took place .... all passengers were like just remove them already ... t his is a short flight and most of use were connecting from a long flight from overseas ...."
Cons: "Delta Flight #1494 On my return flight, I had to pay for a 2nd ticket to fly out early since Delta was cancelling flights to the south and I didn’t want to get stuck in Philadelphia. When the plane arrived for a layover in Atlanta, there was a flight going on from the first 2 people waiting to deplane. In my distraction and fear, I left my water bottle next to my seat. When I realized that I had left it, I went back to the gate and told the gate attendant that my bottle was next to my seat. She would not call down to the plane, nor walk down, and told me I had to wait until the entire flight had boarded. I explained that my connecting flight was boarding across the airport. The bottle was expensive and had great sentimental value. A couple times, I tried to ask people boarding the flight if they would tell a flight attendant to retrieve my bottle. The gate attendant told the boarding passenger to ignore me. When the flight had completely boarded, the gate attendant went down to the plane only to return to me to tell me that the flight attendant(s) allowed the cleaning crew to take the bottle. The gate attendant called the cleaning service and then she told me that the bottle was waiting at the tower and that I could ask at my next gate to have the bottle delivered to that gate. Since my connecting flight had already started boarding I had to run/train it across the airport to arrive at the gate. When I told the 2nd gate attendant, the story and asked him to call the tower to get my bottle, he told me that “wasn’t a thing” and that the 1st gate attendant lied to me. I had to board since they were getting ready to close the plane. This incident was compounded to many unpleasant experiences I’ve had with Delta over the past few years (losing my luggage and lying about it, damaging my suitcase, etc., etc.). I don’t understand how you can continue to be successful as an airline when you run your operation the way Delta does."
Cons: "A flying chicken bus. The air conditioning was really loud."
"It was comfortable and organized."
Pros: "Nothing, was scheduled to depart at 10AM, is 3 PM and no info whatsoever."
Cons: "Taking ownership of the issue by the staff at the counter."
Pros: "Good services"
Cons: "Leg room and seats are uncomfortable"
Cons: "Some of the crew. Eapecially first class was slow and poor at communicating"
Pros: "The crew was super friendly and attentive"
Pros: "That the flight was a very reasonable price"
Cons: "The flight was packed there was no separation of people for the convir 19 the seats were very close together my knees were touching the seat in front of me"
Cons: "They need to stop selling the flights at full capacity"
Pros: "Quick Flight and nice crew."
Cons: "The crew wasn't the problem at all. Some of the passengers were just being obnoxious and sitting next to their friends not what their seat numbers were. The BIGGEST problem are the packed planes with no social distance between passengers which is a HUGE concern for me."
Pros: "Staff was nice."
Cons: "Nothing really"
Pros: "The overall flight was good!"
Cons: "Maybe make sure that communication between connecting flights are quick and efficient."
Pros: "Crew was great & flight was quiet."
Pros: "Movie selection and comfort of seats"
Cons: "They somehow “lost” luggage for half the hee passengers, and we had to wait for 2 hours by the carousel for them to “find” it. Totally unacceptable."
Cons: "Even with the delay I had a good flight and the service on board was very good"
Pros: "Boarding was on time, flight was smooth overall. Arrived at destination on time."
Cons: "Collection of carry-on luggage (valet), snack options"
Cons: "Everything was fine, crew was great, but the wifi entertainment system is a joke. Its nice to allow passengers to connect and watch movies or shows, however, when trying to watch a movie it constantly buffers. More buffering then watching, to the point of just stopping and skipping it all together."
Cons: "I missed this connecting flight."
Pros: "Friendly crew and better extras in premium economy than my last AA flight. This flight included an upgraded meal, docks, pillow, toothbrush."
Cons: "Entertainment system didn’t work."
Pros: "ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!"
Cons: "At 12:40 p.m. we boarded American Airlines flight 1350 in ATL, just to SIT on plane for 1 1/2 hours (half the time with NO AIR). Computer problems. Had to get off plane, then had to wait in 3 lines. Agents were so UNPROFESSIONAL! Kept saying flight would go... DID NOT go until another plane came in at 9:00 PM! We, needless to say missed our connecting flight to SYDNEY and had to wait til next day and fly to SAN FRANCISCO, then to MELBOURNE, then on to Christchurch. We MISSED out on TWO DAYS of our short trip! which included missed reservations!!"
Pros: "I had someone waiting on me at the gate to escort me to the plane! Great service!"
Cons: "I called the American 1-800 number and was initially greeted with the worst customer service I’ve experienced. I wish i knew her name. I hung up and called back and was helped so well by Anna."
Cons: "Flight was cancelled. American said I was a no-show so I couldn't get rebooked, my trip insurance was refused, etc. My vacation was ruined. American wouldn't change status either. Funny, I ate right across from the gate 2 hours before flight on the same card. This airline should be banned from flying. I do see a lot of other people are not happy either."
Cons: "Snacks, non usable Wi-Fi"
Pros: "We left early and arrived early. Smooth flight."
Pros: "How fast they had us in the air (5 min early)."
Cons: "In their rush to leave, they didn't communicate with the on board crew about overhead bins and I was forced to check a priceless item that I purposely wanted with me in the cabin. The overheads were empty above my own seat. I wasn't allowed to go back and reclaim my bag because they had already taken it. And they were completely indifferent to my situation, which isn't surprising given they didn't understand the value of my item. Thus, I had a full blown panic attack for my entire 2 hour flight, my medicine being one of the items also in my now checked bag. It was too late, my bag was taken and thrown under the plane by the time it struck. And the flight attendants also had on perfume that brought on a tension headache due to my sensitivity to scents. Considering they work in a recycled air tube, this seems like a vast oversight on their part and should consider that not everyone can handle even the faintest of perfumes. It may not seem like a big deal to them, because mental illness is still seen as a made up thing, but it was enough of a trigger that I will not fly American Airlines again."
Pros: "Fast trip!"
Cons: "We were delayed because of a broken tray table and then the broken tray table was mine. But we made it, and the flight was good, so it was fine."
Pros: "The airplane was modern, clean and comfortable and the flight was on time"
Cons: "Everything was good"
Pros: "VEry good Cabin crew and the plane was reasonable new"
Pros: "Everything went exactly as scheduled."
Pros: "The pilot did a great job flying. Very smooth."
Cons: "The flight attendants were pretty mean and just overall dissatisfied. Apparently we had community water to share? Everyone gets water from the same bottle?? Too strange."
Cons: "An extremely rude woman told me there was no space to place my bag in the overhead compartment and forced me to step aside and check my backpack. I didn't have a purse or any other item, just a backpack. I told them I had medication and they told me to just put it in my pockets. So I stashed my medicine in my pockets and had no room for my personal items or valuables. I had a hiking backpack with a water bottle in the side, and since they forced me to check the bag, my water bottle flew out of the pocket while it was being loaded onto the plane. Fortunately they at least tracked me down and brought my stainless steel water bottle to my seat. However, it wouldn't fit in the pocket in front of me and I had no other bag to store it in so I had to hold it and a few other belongings in my lap for the entire flight. I also had some other fragile items in my backpack that may or may not be okay. Also, when I boarded the plane, there was still space...there was no need to be so rude and force me to check a bag being used not only as my suitcase but as my purse as well. I'm so displeased with American, their staff, and their overall disorganization. How ridiculous."
Pros: "The actual crew on the plane were great"
Cons: "On my trip to Atlanta from new York the gate staff were horrible. Nasty attitudes and forced me to check in a bag that is made and approved by airlines to be considered a carry-on making me miss my 6 am flight to then book me on a 930am flight that was delayed for about an hour. I've never experienced this with any other airline before. Very disappointed"
Pros: "Seats had good leg room, and the current movies were free (unlike on the United flight I took a short while ago). Boarding was quick."
Pros: "The crew was professional"
Pros: "In General, as a premium passenger, I usually enjoy the premium cabin experience; however, it was lacking this time."
Cons: "In first class, three/four of us requested headphones/headsets; the flight attendant informed us that there were no headphones/headsets; thus, we could not watch any programming In first class, there were two meal options, but one was almost immediately depleted before the flight attendant arrived at my row."
Pros: "For the most part the trip was wonderful."
Cons: "I was unhappy because every leg of my journey I was being charged for my baggage. I thought this was unfair. Those working with customer service was not helpful either. They were frustrated and thus frustrated me. In addition my flight was late leaving the airport and the captain nor the stewardesses gave an explanation. This was unacceptable. We were late over hour."
Pros: "The gate agents did a good job of making sure the boarding process was organized, despite confusion with two Chicago-bound flights departing from the same gate in a short window. Delay was communicated far enough in advance that I didn't travel to the airport until it was necessary."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 3 hours due to the incoming aircraft, but nobody at the gate or onboard offered any explanation or even acknowledged the delay. The aircraft did not handle turbulence well at all... one of roughest flights in recent memory despite avoiding weather. Wifi had weak signal (on a 70-person jet!) and the streaming entertainment did not work the entire time... it either did not load or I got an error message."
Pros: "Good customer service, friendly stewards and stewardess."
Cons: "No negative actions. All positive."
Pros: "The flight staff had an amazing energy about them especially for 7am. They didn't do anything above or beyond but they extremely pleasant, energetic, and courteous. The pilots also pulled off the one of the smoothest landings ever."
Pros: "The flight attendants were very accommodating. One of the flight attendants encouraged me to take advantage of a seat that had more space so that I was more comfortable. Also when I casually talked about how I didn't get to eat before the flight she gave me two of the cinnamon crackers that are offered during the flight. This was very thoughtful and considerate of her. It was the little things and the attendants attention to detail that provided me an excellent experience."
Pros: "Quick flight, great service"
Cons: "Was not accommodated for a missed flight"
Pros: "Eventually we got to hartford"
Cons: "Delayed leaving ATL, sat on the Tarmac for 30 mins. Leaving CLT was delayed 1.5 hrs for mechanical issue because it problem occurred during a shift change. Also was never given the opportunity to choose a seat assignment on CLT-BDL so I ended up in the very last middle seat."
Pros: "Really great flight"
Cons: "The wait"
Pros: "I like that the crew was professional and courteous."
Cons: "That I was there and hour before my flight and my seat was given up. I didn't like that people are allowed to retract all the way making my flight uncomfortable."
Pros: "The flight attendants were nice and helpful"
Cons: "First of all flight was delayed an hour and a half.. Then I went to get something to eat to kill time just to find out they switched the gate causing me to have to run all the way to the new gate then they close the door as I was walking up and told me I missed my flight even though the plane was still there for another 15 minutes.. so I had to fly standby on the next flight which was another hour and a half later.. I arrived at the airport at 12:30 and didn't end up catching a flight until 7:45 p.m.... oh and I forgot to mention that I originally paid for an upgrade for priority seating with more legroom that I never received because they put me on the very last seat that you can't even replying because there is a wall behind you.. SMH"
Pros: "Crew was very professional and courteous. Our plane landed early which is a plus"
Cons: "I didn't like the fact some of the seats appeared to be dirty , I sat on a book."
Cons: "My flight was overbooked. I almost didn't make it home."
Pros: "The flight board on time, the crew was hospitable and seat was comfortable."
"Things were cool. No entertainment or water"
"Worst flight ever ! 2 hour delay for nothing couldn’t even buy a water. Ridiculous"
"I liked nothing flying from ATL to Denver , flight was delayed 4 hrs , we were told to move from one terminal across the airport , then was told to move back to the same spot later when we were told the flight will be leaving at 12:12 vs 1:46 am which means they moved us three times . When we got back to the first spot which was d1 from e1 we were then told we will be departing at 1:46 😂. I had my wife and daughter , we were never offered anything at all , when we used the vending machines in the airport nothing worked no stores open at all. When we finally got told to board we were placed in the tunnel for over 20 min , then where It got real bad was in the plane , take note we were all tired hungry and wanted something to drink . We then board the plane , we sit down and I asked the Stewart if I could have some water he told me when we are in the air , I told him thank you and tried to get comfortable as we have Been sitting in an un air-conditioned airport In The section we were in . As I am sitting there the same person I asked gave multiple bottles of water to certain individuals , I was flabbergasted at that point but wait gets even better . I am exhausted at this point as I have walked miles in this airport with my wife and daughter . We get in the air and he gives me a small half cup of water , lol what a kind gesture . The cabin lights dim besides where the stewardesses are sitting , about 15 min goes by waiting for the plane to get dark so I can fall asleep but remember hungry and tired . I watch two of them start cooking ramen noodles , cup of noodles , chicken and sweet potatoes, make tea and drink multiple bottles of water mind you hungry , tired . I then watch then have a full blown conversation and eat right directly infront of me , no social distancing at all , concerned at this point hungry , tired , thirsty , gets better . Two more come up they start to eat no social distancing 4 people full blown conversation , lack of other people's space , inconsiderate, we ask them to quiet down alittle so they continue with no mind being very rude and unthoughtful of how much everyone went throught from the nasty floor, unconditioned area of the airport, to the vending machines that don't work, the flight delay moving my family three times , watching people eat with no consideration of others , no way to sleep cause 4 frontier stewardesses wanted to eat , discuss there issues, and carry on like we don't exist with the lights on the entire flight in the front of the plane , my entire Tuesday was wasted , now today not doing so well as you try and give us 50$ voucher ."
Pros: "Nothing i thought it would be the price but that is not worth the headache to this trip. You pay for what you get."
Cons: "Not paying for carryons, having water to drink. Not so many changes and charges. I will never fly with this airline again"
Pros: "Smooth flight great pilot. Easy boarding"
Cons: "Not much"
Cons: "That they at least provide water or snacks"
Pros: "Uncomfortable seats"
Cons: "Left and landed on time. After landing, an open gate to taxi to would have been nice. I missed my train."
Cons: "Flight was delayed 5 hours with no explanation"
Pros: "Execution of the boarding/ exiting process"
Cons: "A little more space"
Cons: "Separate the individuals on the flight. Many seats available in the back and yet they crammed everyone in the front side by side with the covid-19 conditions just not smart planning at all"
Pros: "crew was really nice and was genuinely a comfortable flight over all"
Cons: "cabin service"
Cons: "The flight was almost full. Disgusting"
Pros: "We arrived about 20 minutes early. Crew was nice."
Cons: "No outlets or hookups available to charge your phone or tablet. It was a 5-hr flight."
Pros: "The landing"
Cons: "The flight attendants were rude"
Cons: "Gate agent singled me out of the entire plan and REFUSED to let me board until everyone was on Bc I 'had to use a seat belt extension, per her'. I do not own one nor did/do I use one on any of the flights I just took and was buckled 100% of the time. Extremely embarrassing and very aggravating. I fly about 12 times a year and typically never with Frontier, I now remember why."
Cons: "I didn't expect much because it's Frontier, but the plane was so dirty and gross- it looked like it hadn't been cleaned/vacuumed/wiped down in a long time. The bathroom was clogged and also extremely dirty. When I informed the crew that it needed some help, they just scoffed at me and said it wasn't their job. The flight attendants did no actual attending. They counted heads at the beginning and sat in the back for the entire flight. They didn't do safety protocols, they offered no help when other passengers needed, didn't take the time on a 4 hour flight to ask if you wanted to buy a drink(cause you know, it's frontier and they don't even offer water without charging). I have never been a big fan of Frontier, but after this flight, I don't care if I need to pay double to avoid flying with them(it actually doesn't save you much after you pay for carry-ons). AVOID FRONTIER IF POSSIBLE."
Pros: "Good service Good communications from crew Good landing!"
Cons: "Baggage claim - long time getting"
Pros: "We never took the flight as we waited in the airport 2 hours from boarding scheduled for 8:00 p.m., as suggested, until after 2:00 in the morning, when we heard not from Frontier, but another passenger, that the flight was canceled. No flight was available until Christmas Eve, six days from the current flight, and so we spent considerably more money for all three of us to get home with another airline. I, nor any of the three of us, nor anyone we've told our story to, wishes to ever fly Frontier again. It is an event that will certainly impact our decision to fly Frontier again, without a doubt."
Cons: "No flight No announcement right away about the cancellations, nor the delays Multiple reasons for the delays No definitive answers about what was going on Multiple additional expenses on our end that we hadn't planned on. Vouchers, but weren't enough to completely compensate for hotels"
Cons: "Landed on time and sat on tarmac waiting for our gate for over and hour and a half. Frontiers Seats are so uncomfortable baggae rule very restrictive, not eve free water. Finally they decide to use a different gate. Wow 90 minutes to decide that. Crew was great , Denver ground management not so much"
Pros: "It was crazy cheap"
Cons: "The seats were tight, there was no movie, no snacks or drinks except to purchase, no tray table, and the bathrooms stunk up the plane frequently.... sigh I haven't flown in a while but I don't remember flights being this terrible"
Pros: "The crew was fine. The aircraft was too. Felt safe."
Cons: "The airport employees for this airline was so rude, disrespectful, and not helpful (in Denver). The luggage fees are higher on this airline than other airlines. You're not notified of changes made until it's too late, if at all, causing you to have to pay a fee. It's like they want you to miss your flight, so that they can charge you more money! Very poor communication. They charge for EVERYTHING. I opted to let them choose my seat, so I didn't have to pay extra for that. Would rather pay more to be on an airline I actually like. Lesson learned. Perhaps they don't treat their employees very well? (Which is still no excuse). Or they know they won't have any consequences for mistreating customers? Don't know. But it's not worth it... their "cheap" ticket prices shoot up quickly. You might as well pay more for an airline you like, it'll be less expensive, and less stress..."
Cons: "I didn't like the fact that you had to pay for practically everything; carry ones, food or drink on the flight, and your seat! i would advise any future passengers of this ridiculous method. We should have flown Delta anyway. Delta at least provides food, drinks and wifi during your flight."
Pros: "Nice crew handled a medical emergency on the flight with compassion and skills."
Cons: "Horrible and cramped charged extra for everything possible. bag checked, bag stowed, drinks... awful wait.. awful flight with pilot and crew hawking merchandise and a steward explaining that he needed out of his bad career choice. NEVER fly Frontier. Learned my lesson. Stay away from kayak!"
Pros: "Nothing. If I could say that I liked something, it would be that I liked that my flight wasn't any longer than it was."
Cons: "Both planes (departure and returning) were old, dirty, and I have sat in more comfortable metal folding chairs than the chairs on these planes. Frontier charges for everything. They charge for seats that recline, charge outrageously for reclining seats with a ting bit more leg room, their beverage service is not free, only water is not charged. No snacks either. Luggage that is considered carry on at any other airline is charged at $60 at the gate and the flight attendants pander and really push passengers to apply for their credit card. Horrible all the way around and we will NEVER fly Frontier again. Ever."
Cons: "We drove four hours to get to Atlanta so that we could catch an affordable flight to Denver, CO. When we arrived in Atlanta we were notified that our flight would be delayed 10 minutes. However, it ended up being four hours. We never received a notification that our flight would be pushed back that far via e-mail or any other medium. (phone, text, etc). Because Frontier does not partner with any other airlines, we were not able to get on another flight and get to Denver the same day. Instead, we were stuck in a hot airport as the stores and restaurants around us closed. We had no access to anything other than water, there were no vending machines. Because we did not have any information other than the 10-minute delay, we reached out to the flight staff. They knew nothing and provided us with a 1800 number. Upon calling this number we were told that there was nothing that could be done, a submission of our conversation would be brought to corporate and that I needed to speak with the flight staff for information. The flight staff, again, told us they knew nothing other than what they had already told us and said that the customer service reps would know more. It was an endless circle of knowing being able to assist and everyone pointing the finger at someone else. No one helped us and no one took responsibility. We were traveling to Denver for a vacation to celebrate a birthday. Because of the delay, we had to pay for a hotel room that we barely stayed in (I have obtained a hotel receipt of our stay to show how much money was lost due to your airline) and our trip was cut drastically short in additional to my travel companion spending his birthday in a hot airport with no internet. I am appalled at the level of customer service. I am livid that not only was communication poor with the staff but also with your customers. We have yet to receive any apology from your airline at the intense inconvenience and lack of assistance on the night of August 12th, into August 13th. We spent, $529.40 on this flight and that included travel insurance. We purchased the insurance for situations like this. Again, we did take the delayed flight as we needed to get to our destination. Stating that a refund is only acceptable if the flight was not taken is absolutely the most impractical thing I have ever heard. Please keep in mind that we traveled 4 hours in the car and paid long term parking for this trip. We had no other options to get to Denver other than your airline. This being said, I would like a refund for our inconvenience. I would be happy to include the bills from our hotel, our Ubers/Taxis, our long term parking in ATL as well as any gas receipts from our drive from Asheville to Atlanta and Atlanta back to Asheville. I am extremely upset and need a supervisor to get in touch with me as soon as possible so that I can express my deep frustration with your airline and the integrity of your company. Thank you."
Cons: "The flight left about 20 minutes late with no updates as to why the delay occurred. Once we arrived in Denver we had to wait about 45 minutes to get to a gate and deplane. It was late at night and tons of gates were available. It did not make sense."
Cons: "Never having flown with Frontier before, I had no reason to expect what happened. I found what I thought was a fairly good deal on Kayak to fly round-trip from ATL to DEN for a quick weekend with a friend. Little did l know, and certainly NOT because Kayak informed me during the booking process or anytime afterwards, that Frintier charges fees for *literally* everything. Want a soda...sure, pay $1.99. Want to choose a seat (not even a special one, just to know you won't be stuck in a middle seat)...sure, pay $13-$35 dollars per leg of trip. Want carry-on...sure, pay $40. For carry on. Really? So now my $261 deal has turned into a $367 dollar *ordeal*. Would have been better not using Kayak, and will definitely never fly Frontier again. Thanks for nothing."
Pros: "The pilot was nice and the plane was very clean."
Cons: "One flight attendant was yelling all over the plane instead of politely walking up to guests and informing them that the overhead baggage holders were full. Also, there seem to be a mix up with seating as before the plane doors closed, this same flight attendant allowed a guest to move to another seat, only for the ticket attendant to walk back on the plane and inform the flight attendant that she needed those seats. I usually fly with Delta, American Airlines, and in my 30 years of traveling have I not seen such unprofessionalism with regards to miscounted seats and the way the flight attendant handled those customers."
Pros: "I woke up to an email 31/2 hours before my daughters flight was suppose to leave Atlanta informing me that the flight was canceled. Called customer service where the man I spoke with was unable to or unwilling to tell me anything except that "yes it looks like the flight was canceled". His suggestion was to have my sister drive my daughter an hour and a half to the airport to see if there "might" be a flight available through another airline. Frontier did not have any flights going to or near RDU that day.Since my daughter had to be in Raliegh that day I spent the next 10 hours in the car going to get her. I did receive a refund but only because I requested one, otherwise they just don't refund automatically."
Cons: "Customer service represenitives are not very informative. The flights may be slightly cheaper but you have to pay for checked baggage as well as carry on bags. When checking her in the night before and picking a seat in coach my sister had to pay a "fee" for her seat, so an additional fee of $57 dollars for one bag and a seat.... Really?"
Pros: "HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE FLIGHT CREW VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.WOULD HESITATE TO GO ANY WHERE I NEED TO GO ON THIS AIRLINE. WILL USE KAYAK TO PLAN MY NEXT TRAVEL."
Cons: "Although there were warnings that "fees may be applied", I could not find how much those fees would be until 24 hours before my flight when I checked in. Before that, I had actively searched for how much I would be charged for my seat and my luggage both online and on the phone. No answers. I described this process to a lawyer who said there is possibility for a large class action lawsuit. I ended up having to pay $70 in fees (and will again on my flight back home -- probably -- again, there's no way for me to find out from Frontier until I check in). I don't mind fees, but they should be transparent. I will never fly Frontier again."
Cons: "I will never fly this airline again! The tix appear significantly cheaper on kayak, so we drove 2 hours out of our way to ATL in the early morning hours thinking it was saving $$$. Only to find at check in that it cost more to bring a small carry on than to pay for it to be checked! It was a west coast flight and it didn't even include a beverage in flight!!! No snack either. Thumbs down. It was certainly NOT worth the inconvenience of driving out of the way, and we didn't save any $ after all. The staff was not that friendly, at it took 30 mins for the frontier baggage carousel to even start up to get the heck out of there. Never again. If it seems too good a deal, it is!"
Pros: "The flight was cheap and affordable"
Cons: "paying for carryon luggage and the price being 45. paying for snacks and drinks thats over priced and should be free like the other airlines. seats no longer recline and you have to pay for a seat if you pick one. by the time you pay for all of it the flight costs more or about the same as thr airlines."
Pros: "Except for my "complaint," I thought the flight was fine. People were helpful boarding the play. The crew seemed friendly and chatty. I had a good seat (upgraded to the first three rows for extra expense). The monkey white wine was good and the flight attendant was witty and helpful. Thanks!"
Cons: "The only thing that caused me some concern was that the ATL gate on the printed ticket read 1 but the actual departure gate was 1A. At first I went to 1 and the flight information said Trenton and I didn't see the 1A or even go there to look. I found a helpful Delta service personnel who said, "Oh these people, they are never around to help the passengers. I'll help you. He went online at a kiosk in the general hallway and pulled up the flight as departing 1A. Sincere there was no way for me to know about this. I could have missed the flight. Either post someone to direct passengers OR put the correct information on the electronic ticket. Thanks."
Pros: "I didn't like too much to be honest.. the crew was friendly.. boarding was okay.. nothing is really standing out."
Cons: "Awful seats. They were WAY too small and I'm a small person (5'4ft 115lbs). They didn't even lean back and they were SUPER uncomfortable ... this airline is doing it ALL WRONG!!! The flight was only 3hrs long too.. and it left me with a very undesirable taste in my mouth.. the "complimentary" water didn't help.. they MADE me check my bag that would have clearly fit in the overhead compartment.. an extra $30 I wasn't expecting to pay.. the flight was so bad that I'm leaving the review.. I NEVER leave reviews.. so.. step up your game Frontier."
Pros: "Each frontier employee was kind and greeted me...usually with their name."
Cons: "I was in the middle seat and paid $6.00 to get a seat near the front of the plan as it is sometimes difficult for me to get to the back with all the pople and sounds as I have frequent vertigo. Right before take off I noticed several rows of seats completely empty and asked if I could move to one of those seats. Supprisingly I was tolld no. When I asked she said because people pay mor for those seats. For the comfort of the 2 other people and myself...I just thought it made since they were pretty much the same. These seats were not being utilized by anyone...no one had paid to sit there..not like Casper the friendly Ghost was on board and it would have made a more comfortable flight . Just found that a little peculiar. Some thing to think about if someone else ever asks????"
Cons: "Frontier charges $30 for every carry on. No where in the processing of purchasing our tickets did it tell us about that extra charge! Once we went to sign in the day before the flight or asked is about our luggage & then charged us the $30!"
Pros: "The boarding process was pretty fast."
Cons: "Talk about hidden fees! You have to pay to choose a seat and pay for a carry on. You're allowed a "personal item" that has to fit under the seat in front of you, but what they don't tell you is that the seats are "sardines in a can" seats only about half as deep as traditional seats (so that personal item has to be smaller than you'd think). So let's talk about these seats. They are literally an inch thick. Like I mentioned previously, the seat part is only about half as deep as normal seats. It ended at mid-thigh for me and I'm short (5'3"). Accordingly the tray tables are only a hand's width, put a drink on it and that's about it."
Pros: "Direct flight."
Cons: "When I went to check in for my super cheap flight suddenly I had to pay to pick a seat! I've come to expect to pay to check a bag but this was such a lie to pay for the flight and then have to pay to have a seat. Did I buy a standing room only?"
Pros: "I like that the plane didn't crash. Other than that Frontier's service, from paying for your carry on and beverages and the ticket agents to the flight attendants was, I imagine, worse than a greyhound bus ride. I was able to download the frontier app and get my boarding pass, and make the flight (drenched in sweat from running through the airport) as they were closing the boarding door. Thank god for cardio and determination."
Cons: "There were five ticket agents at the counter when I got to the counter (an hour before my flight). All five of them were helping one person and talking to each other for about 10 minutes. Then one split off to help the next person in line - or just to get a laugh by telling the couple they weren't make their flight and they weren't going to drop anymore bags to the plane because we were close to the 45 minute cutoff before the departure time. Perhaps if they had been working as a team rather than a gang the whole lot of us would have been checked in on time. When I got on the plane (after asking folks in security if I could get in front of them and running like a madman through the terminal) the flight attendant was the pinnacle of passive aggressive annoyance. This was my first and probably last ticket I buy flying frontier."
Cons: "The hidden charges are an embarrassing way to do business, The flight attendant was inconvenienced by her job, and comfort level was what I would imagine a prison bus must feel like. My return flight was canceled do to weather in Denver, I am fully aware that this is out of Frontier's hands however I commissioned Frontier to fly my wife and I to and from Atlanta; that was the Job I hired them for, to and from. They did not complete there task. They canceled the flight 10 minutes before boarding and didn't offer us a hotel. We got a hotel, a rental car, and made the 1400 mile trek. I would at least expect a full refund. After getting home and relaying our story to friends and family, not one person was shocked at this. Apparently it is common knowledge that Frontier is the world's worst air line. Well Now We know."
Pros: "I liked that i made it to my destination."
Cons: "I do not like that the website does not clearly state that a backpack is a personal item. But here is the con, they say pay now for the bag or pay more at the airport! So of course you pay. On my return and upon picking up my boarding ticket i asked about my backpack and she told me it was a personal item and that it is free. She handed me a ready made slip of paper to call for a refund and said she would make a note in the system to this effect. When i called for my $80 refund i was told well the note in the system only mentioned your return flight so we will only return for that flight. Ok..ok. You see where im going with this. This is a class action lawsuit in the making."
Pros: "nothing to like on a 14 hour mismanaged delay...We did get our luggage refunded. And $10 vouchers for food (not enough) and had to cue for these for a while..."
Cons: "after mechanical delay - they happen - not the issue... But, due to staff negligence on the DEN-ATL flight - my family and I had to suffer a stressful day, that could have been avoided. Issues: No proper updates on times. No one manning the Frontier counter at ATL from 4-4:30 pm - no assitance to get boarding pass to get in, now would the kiosk print it! Once there the lady was NOT helpful or empathetic. We had a tough time through security. Only due to another DELAY did we make this awful flight ATL -DEN. All the incompetence of a budget airline on full display. Get some better management in Atlanta!"
Pros: "flight was only delayed because of weather. captain was good to explain and we didn't lose any time in transit."
Cons: "there is no organization, zoning was called two at a time vs. one at a time to allow for ease of lining up."
Cons: "The flight in soon it was so rude and rude to her coworkers . just. I'm checking into getting on the flight and the flight the customer service is very poor"
Cons: "A family of 4 with 2 small children sat behind my colleague and I on a 6:30am flight from ATL to LGA. There were 2 small children who disrupted my entire flight. Constant banging on the back of our chairs, slapping the trays up and down for 2 hours, slapping the plane windows, etc. After repeated efforts to ask the parents to have their children stop, the parents could care less about the disruptive behavior of their children. Complaints were made to the crew to no avail. The children were disrupting the entire 5 rows around them. These passengers should have paid for my and my colleagues flight, in addition to their flight, as they cause one of the worst experiences on a flight I've ever had. After this flight, I believe there should be a policy that if you have children on a plane, you should be required to pay more, allowing the people around you to pay less or opt out of having to be seated next to a passenger with a child."
Cons: "The seats were uncomfortable. The boarding was late and we arrived late to my destination. The baggage claim took too long. The pricing for bags were too expensive. I will never use frontier again, that's why there prices are so cheap."
Pros: "I have to admit, I liked the price. And now that I've flown the airline I understand why it has a low price. Which is okay, I saved enough money to cover my parking. I would say that 1st time customers might be unaccustomed to paying for your own beverages and snacks. The thing that struck me as odd was the staffs willingness even eagerness to have a confrontation with the quest. Like they took pride in putting passengers in their place for a few extra fee revenue dollars. The flight was okay, but Frontier airlines won't be my 1st choice next time."
Cons: "Rude staff! Baggage claim in Las Vegas was in another terminal, which I had To catch a shuttle to get to, which I'm sure is determined by fees the airline pays the airport. So the least expensive is not always the best thing."
Pros: "INITIALLY, I was thrilled with the low price. That changed radically when I found out that Frontier charges for everything except air. The crew was polite and informative and let us know what was happening with our hour-plus delay."
Cons: "Didn't like the new seats and the tiny tray--very uncomfortable and practically useless. That said, I wasn't going to use the tray anyway (couldn't even put a tablet on it) for food, as Frontier is charging for food and water. At the time, I was not aware that I would be charged separately for baggage, including carry-on bags. If I had been, I would have MAILED my luggage to my final destination, as it would have been cheaper. My family of four turned out to have five bags, which added approximately $500 to the roundtrip cost of the tickets, or MORE than it cost for the tickets. That's right, flying the people (who weigh more than luggage) turned out to be cheaper than flying the bags. Look, if you want to encourage people to check bags, make checking the bag FREE. If you're just looking for a revenue stream, then you should be up front about what the costs will be. (But then people would be less inclined to book your "cheaper" tickets, wouldn't they?) Also, the flight wound up being delayed for over an hour, though my phone and the Frontier website continued to show "on time" status."
