The DGSC and DGSC implement az Energy Efficient Ethernet, which saves energy and reduces heat automatically without sacrificing performance or functionality. The switches can detect when a connected computer is shut down or when there is no Ethernet traffic and can automatically reduce the power used for that port, cutting power usage substantially. In addition, the switch optimizes power usage for each port for the length of cable connected to it, using only as much power as is required. Both of these features work together to help you save power automatically.

MikroTik's RB-CCRP is a carrier-grade cloud core router powered by a 4 core ARM CPU. The unit comes equipped with installed RouterOS L6 and 4GB of onboard RAM. It features 16x Gigabit Ethernet ports as well as 2x SFP+ uplink ports and dual power supplies for integrated redundancy. Each group of 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports is connected to a separate Marvell Amethyst family switch chip. Each switch chip has a 10Gbps full-duplex line connected to the CPU. Each SFP+ cage also has a separate 10Gbps full-duplex line.
