1. Enter the island and talk to the old police man. (You can copy policeman outfit here)
2. None of the police want to go into the tunnel, so the suit guy gives you a FLASHLIGHT (which you put on to add to your outfit and use), and the notebook of the scientist working to find the zombie cure, who they have lost touch with.
3. Jump on top of the school bus and enter the tunnel.
4. Keep on moving left, jumping over obstacles and using your flashlight to guide you. If you run into a zombie, you scream AAAAH! and move away from them, so try to avoid them.
5. In a while you’ll see an OIL TRUCK, with flashing green car keys. Pick them up, and keep on moving left.
6. Now stop at the green car that looks like the ones on the keys. Unlock the door using the keys and click the LIGHT button on the left. Exit and click on the crank below you to tilt the car’s light in front of the zombies so they move away.
1. You can now keep on moving to the Financial District (left). Here, jump on the beams all the way to the top and to the right, where you see the controls for a crane. Click on them and you start the crane moving. First, click on the top right beam and move it to the top middle. Then, go to the bottom right beam – which has a toolbox on it – and move it to the space where the top right beam was. Move the crane out of the way of the beam then exit.
2. Jump over the pile of boxes and click on the toolbox. Sort through it until you find a subway pass on the bottom, which you pick up. Now jump down from the beams and run left.
3. Enter the smoothie shop and run right. Pick up a pamphlet. Now exit the store and go down, into the Subway.
4. There are zombies, but they mainly stay to the right. Jump over them and “use” your subway pass for the gate to open. Go left.
5. On the platform, jump up to get the light bulb.
6. Continue to go left, avoiding the zombies. There is a rock blocking the train. Click on it to make the train move forward. Now go back right again, and exit the subway into the Financial District.
1. Go left until you get to Shady Side Apartments. However, the only way to get in is jump the window, but there are zombies blocking the way. Go left a little and click on the fuse box.
2. Click on 2, 3, 8, and 9 so that there are green lights leading to the roof. Turn off all other switches. Now jump on the lighted windows.
3. When you get to the top left window, jump up and enter through the door. Go to the apartment door marked 7 (go straight left and jump over the gap for stairs)
4. Click on the yellow sticky note on the computer (to the left). Exit and go to door 5 – climb down the stairs and go right. Pick up the bolt cutters on top of the cabinet on the right.
5. Click on the note on the fridge – left. Now exit and go to door 1, on the bottom floor middle. Gamer Dude invites you to “come chill”. Jump up and get the camera on top of the speakers to the right of him.
6. Click on the trash can behind him. At the bottom, there is a green soda bottle. You might have to move some stuff, but if you see green sticking out, just click on it.
7. Exit the apartments and go left to Chinatown.
The Karaoke Bar
1. To get there, jump on to the roof of the Chinese restaurant, jump left onto the string of paper lanterns, then jump onto the street and enter the Karaoke bar.
2. There are zombies blocking the whole place. Jump onto the stage and talk to DJ Saturday Night, who won’t let you touch her stuff unless you clear the dance floor. Shine your flashlight at the ceiling and find the disco ball. Shining it makes the zombies temporarily go away.
3. Go right, and you see a switch for the disco lights. Shine your flashlight at the 2nd disco ball, right above the second “room”. The zombie will go away and you can click the switch.
4. Now all the zombies are gone, and DJ leaves too. Click on the computer and click on “Find my phone”. Type in username: doctor and password:awesome. It finds Dr. Romero’s phone! Unlock the door and take a screenshot.
5. Next, click on the piece of paper on top of the shiny bowl (?) to get DJ’s shopping receipt. Exit the Karaoke Bar.
The Secret Bunker
1. Once you’ve exited, go right and jump on top of the trash can (when there are no zombies in the way). From there, jump onto the Karaoke Bar roof and onto the string of paper lanterns. “Use” the light bulb and it will light up the lanterns.
2. Sink down into the middle so the zombies go away and drop into the manhole. You land on a subway.
3. Go left and enter the hatch to the subway. Go right to the controls and click on the red button to turn on the lights, then the lever to make the subway go. When it’s “the end of the line”, exit the way you came.
4. Right above you is a red ladder. Climb up and enter the secret bunker.
5. Go down and explore a little. Dr. Romero is a zombie! Go left to the red phone and dial 555-3946, Dr. Romero’s phone number. The phone rings! Pick up the 2 items Dr. Romero lets out of the cage.
6. “Use” the cell phone and watch Dr. Romero’s 4 video diaries. Now, it’s time to figure out which fruit caused the zombie outbreak. Go left and click on the whiteboard.
7. Fill out the chart using your clue notebook. You can copy this:
8. It’s the blueberries! Just then, a cup of coffee randomly comes out. Whatever, grab it. Now exit the secret bunker by jumping up and left. Go left to Chinatown, and left to a big gate that says The Wharf.
The Shipping Container
1. Use your bolt cutters to unlock the gate and enter. Go all the way right, avoiding the zombies until you find a shipping container that says “Do not open until 2000”. Enter.
2. Talk to the camouflage guy and give him the coffee. He gives you a keycard! You’ll need that. Now exit the shipping container.
3. Jump up and to the left. See the spotlight? Basically follow it and avoid the zombies. You may have to go a little bit out of the light for it to move to the next location. If you fall, it will just start from where you fell, or back to the beginning again. Be patient!
4. At one point, there is a green box and you don’t know where to go. Jump on top of it, then right. You can now safely follow the spotlight again.
5. Finally, you get to a crane control place. Insert the key card and it works! Scroll down to October 22, Cleveland. Basically, the game is for the crane to not get hit by the boxes. It’s pretty easy. Using autopilot, it brings the green box to right below you.
6. Equip your camera before you enter. There is a crazed zombie! Click on the camera to flash and stun him. Now collect a sample of the blueberries and exit.
7. Go all the way left, but this time don’t use the gate. Enter the subway just to the left of it. Use your subway pass again (avoiding the zombies) and go right. Avoiding the zombies, follow the train tracks all the way to the train you moved before. Jump on to the platform, the top of the train, the red ladder, and into the secret bunker.
1. Next to Dr. Romero there is some “high-tech equipment”. “Use” the blueberries and turn the crank to get the antidote. Equip it to cure Dr. Romero.
2. The zombies are trying to get in! Jump up and click on the boards next to the doorway to block it off…for now. Now jump down and turn the crank as fast as you can to make another antidote.
3. Now, there will be a mini-game. Basically hold down on the antidote for the zombies until their face turns normal. Go left to right to get everyone and you know you’re done when you get a new photo. Congratulations! There are some scenes at the end and you receive your ISLAND MEDALLION!
When you get to Zomberry Island, run left and talk to the police officer on the left side of the bus. Then, the police chief appears and says Dr. Romero has been trying to find a cure for the Zombies and the police have lost contact with him. The chief asks if you can do the job. If you want to complete this island say, “Yes.” Then he gives you a flashlight and a clue notebook. He says the notebook contains most of the things you need about Dr. Romero. This island is hard, so if you want to complete the island, jump on top of the school bus and enter the tunnel.
When you get in the tunnel, it’s really dark, so equip your flashlight. You can turn it off or on by pushing the space bar. The flashlight will help you see better, but it won’t scare the zombies, so you need more light to scare them away. You still keep moving anyway. Now, run left while not touching the zombies. This will make you scream and it will make you run away from the zombies. When you see the oil truck, pick up the car keys.
Keep running while not touching the zombies until you reach a “Dorf Bean” car. Use the car keys from your items and it just so happens, that they fit. Click on the door to enter the car. When you get in the car, click the “lights” button to the bottom left of the screen. Once the lights are on, click the lever at the bottom of the truck. It will make the light point towards the zombies, and you then can go in the “Financial District.”
The “Financial District”
When you go in the “Financial District,” go to the construction site, and jump on the beams until you reach a machine on the top beam. Use the machine to carry the bottom right beam that the tool box is on to the opening on the top. To get to the toolbox, jump off the machine to go over the cement blocks.
Now, you will be going through trash. When you move everything to the sides, click on the Subway Passport. Jump off the beam and go down the Subway to the left of the construction site.
The Subway Tunnel
When you go in the Subway tunnel, try to avoid the zombies that are there. I jumped over them. Run left until you see a scanner, you can then use your Subway pass on it. The subway pass will be in your inventory. It will open the door, so you can now enter the Subway. Run left until you reach the Chinatown Subway. When you reach the other scanner, use your Subway passport… again. This scanner will finally let you enter the actual subway. When enter the Subway, there will be a light bulb above you. You will need this for later, so click it to put it in your bag. Exit the subway by running right to go back outside.
Run left to the Smoothie Shop, and go inside. When you enter, there will be pamphlets on the wall. Take the one in the middle. This pamphlet didn’t help me at all, but it had to be there for a reason…
Run left to the “Shady Side” once you leave the smoothie shop.
The Shady Side
When enter the “Shady Side,” run until you reach a fuse box. You will have to make the left side of the building light up. Once you do that, climb up the windows until you reach a door.
When you get inside, here’s a list of all the rooms in the building you need to get to.
Room 7: Go to the computer, and click on the post-it note. It will be in your clue notebook.
Room 5: Get the bolt cutters from near the door. Go the fridge and click it. This clue will also go in your clue notebook.
Room 1: Click on the trash can. Again, move the things to the side until you get a can of Valley Rain, which is also a clue. Click the camera on top of the stereo. You can talk to the dude and you can also play the game he’s playing. The experience from the game will come in handy later.
Run to China Town and go in the Karaoke building.
The Karaoke Building
When you enter the Karaoke building, talk to the disco woman on stage while avoiding the zombies. She says she is trapped, and that you need to make the zombies leave. Go right until you see a zombie. Point your flashlight at the disco ball above the zombie. The zombie will then leave. Then, click any of the disco lights. The floor will light up and the zombies will leave. Go up on the stage and talk to the woman. She then leaves once you ask the last question. Click the paper on top of the stereo. You will then get yet, another clue. Click on the computer and go to the “Find My Phone” app. Then, put the user and password in. The user is DOCTOR and the password is AWESOME. It tracks the phone to a bunker. Click the unlock button.
When you enter Chinatown, run to the left until you get next to “Wok and Hard Place.” Jump onto the red roof and then jump onto the wire with the lanterns. Time to use the light bulb. Go to your inventory and click “Use.” The lanterns will then light up and scare the zombies away. Then, click the hole under you to go in. When you go in the hole, you need to point your arrow to the left to go on the train. Once on, go inside. When you enter, run all the way to the right and push the lever. It will arrive in the Financial District. Go back outside and climb up the ladder that’s above you.
After you climb the ladder, go to the right to the “Secret Bunker.” When you click to go inside, zombies will appear. You will then scream, and click it again to go inside.
The “Secret Bunker”
When you get inside, run to the phone and call: 555-3946. The zombie to the right will drop the phone and a sheet of paper. It’s the doctor! Pick both of them up. The paper will go to your clue notebook. The phone will have a video diary you can look at. Go to the bulletin board. Go through all of your clues and put all the fruits the people ordered on the board.
Coffee just randomly pours into a randomly made cup. Nothing weird about that… Click the coffee. It will go in your bag.
The Wharf Building
Go outside through the door at the top left of the building. Go to the gate near the karaoke building, and use the bolt cutters. Then, go inside. When you get inside, run to the right to the box that says “Don’t open until 2000” and go inside. It’s a little overdue to be opened. When you get inside, there’s a guy that is alive. Go talk to him. Say that you couldn’t climb up the crates because the zombies kept attacking you. He says that he will help you. Give him the coffee and he will give you a keycard. Climb up all the crates on the right side. When you get onto the top one, jump onto a ledge. Go down and jump across the platforms, so you can get to a machine. Then, use the keycard that’s in your inventory. Go down to the blueberry cargo and click it.
The crane will start moving on the screen. Try to avoid all of the columns that are 3 boxes tall or you will have to start over. Click the crate that says, “73 G” and a spotlight will point toward it. Enter the box.
The “73 G” Crate
There will be a blue zombie in there that keeps chasing you. Equip the camera from your bag and push it at the bottom left screen. It will stun him and you need to go to the blueberries. Click it and it will go in your inventory. You have to wait until the zombie leaves for you to leave. When you do leave, you have to go back to the lab. Run all the way to the left and enter the subway. When you enter, scan your Subway pass at he scanner to the right while avoiding the zombies. Run to the right to the train and jump on top of the front of it. Go back up the ladder, again.
The “Secret Bunker” …Again
Go to the machine and click “Use” on the blueberries. Turn the crank to make the antidote. Then, click on the antidote. It will be in your bag. Shoot the doctor with it to turn him back to normal. He says that we need to make more to cure the entire population. The zombies are trying to come in! Board up the doorway by clicking the wood next to the door. You then say it will hold up… For a while. The doctor then says that the antidote is ready to be made. You then have to go back down and turn the crank as fast as you can unless you want to be annoyed by the doctor. The zombies are breaking in when you are turning the crank. The zombies are just for show. They won’t come out until you finish. They won’t even come out if you’re going as slow as you can. After you make the antidote, the doctor gets afraid and runs back to the cage. You then have to fight ALL of the zombies ALONE.
The Zombie Battle
This is where the experience from the dude’s game comes in handy. To make it easier, hold your mouse down instead of clicking. After you cure all of the zombies, Joe Puddy, Gamer Dude, and Samuel Brains comes in from an imaginary door. They say, “Thanks!” and you get the Zomberry Island Medallion! Congratulations!
The Bonus Quest
REMEMBER: The bonus quest is only for members.
3 days later in the “Secret Bunk:” Dr. Romero, the guy that lives in the crate that says not to open it until 2000, and you are still inside. Dr. Romero says that his next mystery is… How did the guy live for over 13 years in a crate with no water? Giant rats come onto the screen and take the guy away. Then, Dr. Romero says that with rats infected, it could be 10x worse! He then gives you an extra strong antidote. He says to go outside and find an entrance to the sewers. He also says to put the antidote into all 3 pumps that are giving the city’s water supply. Go outside through the door on the top left screen. The sewer is right outside. Enter the hole.
When you enter the sewer, run right while avoiding the rat. Push the crate out-of-the-way. Use the antidote on each pump and click the wheel when the zombie comes to attack you. You have now completed the bonus quest!

Full Written Walkthrough
Don't go into the light!
Land on Main Street in Zomberry Island. You'll get to know a few of the survivors who made it out of the Fort Savini Tunnel before it closed. Joe's wife mentions that he didn't make it out on time, which we know from the promotional comic. Now go to the tunnel entrance, which is quarantined. Talk to the male police officer. He says he's getting too old for his job. The Police Chief comes up and states that his police force is full of "cowards." Him and the other officer argue, and then the chief asks YOU if you have the bravery to "tangle" with some zombies. You ask him for information, and he says a man by the name of Dr. Romero was working on a cure, but they lost all contact with him. His phone is crucial, and you must find it at all costs. When you agree to the job, he will give you a Flashlight and a Clue Notebook. Now read the mini-guide carefully, and once you're ready, click the start button. Now climb the school bus and enter the tunnel. When you get in, it's really dark, so equip your Flashlight. It will be more important further into the course. Jump over the obstacles. Now you will spot the first zombie! Point your light at it, and it will seem a little dazed. You then discover that light is a Zomberry's weakness. When the zombies touch you, they just knock you back. So every time you see a zombie, point your light at it and jump over it. At one point you will see an oil truck that stopped by a board. Go underneath the front tire and you will receive the Car Keys. Keep making your way left until your near the end. There is a bunch of zombies blocking the way. Now go to the truck carrying the Dorf Bean car. Use the Car Keys to unlock it and open it. Now enter and turn on the lights. The car is tilted up, so press the lever on the truck. the platform that the Dorf Bean car is on will tilt downward, pointing the light at the zomberries. The zombies all clear out, so now you can go to the Financial District.
Lunch with Joe, followed by a smoothie!
When you get there, you'll be at the construction site. You will instantly see a zombie, so just use your Flashlight to scare it off. You will see the zombified Joe Puddy in the middle beam of the lowest level of the construction site. When he sees you below him he will walk over to some bricks and hide behind them. Ignore him for now, and just climb to the top. You will see what looks like a crane. Go right and enter the machine. Now use it to pick up the beam Joe is on. Now put it at the empty space at the top. Jump down to the bottom and climb to the beam that Joe's lunch is on. Open the lunchbox and dig through it until you get the Subway Passport. Now go to the Berry Delicious Smoothie Shop. You will see a portrait of the founder, Samuel Brains. Look at the basket next to the portrait and click it and you will receive a Pamphlet. If you look through it, it will show you where all the shop's fruit comes from. You can leave now. You are ready to enter the Subway.
Enter the Subway and there will be a lot of zombies. Avoid them and remember to use your flashlight. Now go left. There is a passport scanner. Use your Subway Passport. It will open the door for you. Go left to the Chinatown Subway. There is another passport scanner, so once again use your Subway Passport. Now you can get in the Subway. Once your in, jump up to the overhead light and get the Light Bulb. Strange enough, that will be very useful later on. Now continue to the Chinatown Subway. There are some rocks under the wheel. Click them and they will spread out, causing the Subway to move a little. The lights will then turn on, and you're done in the Subway for now.
The Hunger... for video games?
Now leave the Subway and go left to the Shady Side. Go to 147 Park Drive. Now click the fuse box, and you have to play a game. You need to flip the switches in an order that ends up with at least one straight column of lit windows. Green means the light is on and no zombies allowed, and red means zombies. Now after you get a straight column of lit windows, climb to the top of the building and go in. Go to room 7 which is Dr. Romero's apartment. Go to his computer and click on the clue which will be added to your Clue Notebook. Now go to room 5, which is Joe Puddy's apartment. Go to the shelf and get the Bolt Cutters next to the toolbox. Now, remember in the comic how Elaine gave Joe reminders to eat his fruit on the fridge? Well, go to the fridge, and you'll get a clue for your Clue Notebook. Now go out and go to room 1. You'll see Gamer Guy, that stand-in with the leather jacket. It's your first non-zombie! He isn't a zombie, so you might just want to talk to him. But remember to close the door, or you'll let zombies in! Apparently, he's living off of snacks, especially soda. Now dig through his trash can (yep, you're doing that again) and at the bottom you'll find a can of Valley Rain to put in your Clue Notebook. Now go to his big stereo by the wall to the right and grab the Camera. You can also click on his game system to play the Terror in the Garden video game. You don't need to, but it's really fun and it's good practice for later on. Plus, it explains where our Halloween wallpaper came from earlier on in the year. When you get out, equip the Camera and you can use it to take a picture of the zombies so that the flash will freeze them. Now you can leave the building and go left to Chinatown.
Once you're in Chinatown, go to the Karaoke Bar. Once you get in, you'll see that there's a bunch of zombies on the dance floor, and DJ Saturday Nite is trapped up on the stage, and she's not a zombie. So go into the mechanical room where a zombie is blocking the controls to the lights. Point your Flashlight at the disco ball so that the light will reflect throughout the room, sending the zombies right out of the disco. Now turn the disco lights on and the floor will light up all different colors, causing the zombies to leave. Go to the stage and talk to DJ Saturday Nite. She says that she's gonna take off and runs off. Now grab the Clue next to the soup. Go into her laptop and use the clue from the first page of your Clue Notebook to find out Dr. Romero's username and password for Find My Phone. The login info is listed here:
Once you've logged in the computer will track down Dr. Romero's phone underneath the 147 Park Dr. apartments. The bunker is locked so you use the program to unlock it. Now leave and continue your exploration of Chinatown.
A ride on the Subway
Now that you're in Chinatown, go next to the Wok and a Hard Place building. There is a manhole that you need to enter, but a bunch of zombies are all around it! There are a few lights, but they are not lit. Use your Lightbulb to light them up. You have to jump on them to light them. The zombies will clear out so you can go in. Once you do, you will land on top of the Subway train you used earlier. Go through the top of the train to get in. Once you're in, go to the right and push the lever so that the train moves to the right a little. Now exit through the top. Climb the ladder and you'll see the door to the secret bunker. Click Enter, and the door will unlock. You will hear something. What was that noise? Well, it's zombies, so you'd better run in!
Right underneath the Zomberry's feet
Now that you're in the bunker, go down and you'll see a zombie in a cage. Guess who that zombie is? It's Dr. Romero! Use the old phone next to the coffee machine to call his number, which was in your Clue Notebook to begin with. Once you call him, he will freak out and drop his phone and a piece of paper through the bars. Now go pick up Dr. Romero's Cell Phone and a Berry Delicious Smoothie Shop Receipt for the Clue Notebook. Now go to the big board on the left. Use your Clue Notebook and go into the pages to find out all the fruits everyone ate. You discover the only Joe Puddy and Dr. Romero ate blueberries, and it turns out that blueberries are the reason! Suddenly, the coffee machine starts up, and you can go get a cup of Coffee.
Living in a crate
Now go to the fence and use your Bolt Cutters to break the lock and get into the Wharf. When you get there, go to the big crate that says "Do not open until 2000" on it. Enter it. You will meet this man who appears to have made a little apartment in there. He says he has been living there since the apocalypse started, and he thought the end of the world would be when robots became self-aware, not when zombies attacked. He's been in the crate for thirteen years by himself. He also tells you that he's been living on water bottles and the company of a shadow puppet. He's a pretty lonely guy. Yeesh! Talk about a weird way of life! Now ask him if he can help you climb up the crates, and he says he can help you by shining his spotlight at the zombies trying to attack you.
A treacherous climb!
Now climb the crates while the man shines his spotlight at the zombies. Before you climb, give him your Coffee. He will thank you, and I guess a nice drink will remind him to give you a special Keycard. Keep climbing until you reach a ledge. It's hard to see where to jump to get to the other ledges, so you can use your Flashlight or better yet your Camera. Now make your way to the crane. Use the Keycard. That will activate the machine and you're ready to go! Now click the blueberries, which came from Cleveland
The search for crate 73 G
Once the machine activates, you have a minigame to play. control the crane over the crates, and make sure you avoid stacks of three crates, or you will have to start over. Once you've finished, go use the crane to pick it up. Now leave the machine and you will see the crate. It's time to enter.
Who ordered the super-size zombie?
Enter the crate, and you will get a big surprise: there's a GIANT zombie who has been in the crate the whole time! Someone's been eating too many blueberries! If you've played the Sumo Wrestling game on Red Dragon Island, this should be no sweat. Jump over Big Blue and flash the camera at him. He will pretty much be hypnotized by the camera. Now grab some Blueberries from the pile. Big Blue will leave and you have to wait for him to get out so you can.
Return to the Subway!
Now return to the Subway and scan your Subway Passport. Now go to the top of the train and climb the ladder again. You don't want to make the same mistake as last time, so you get back in in a hurry!
The cure is complete!
Now that you're back in the bunker, go to the generator and use the Blueberries. Now turn the valve and the Medical Gun With Antidote will pop out. Shoot Dr. Romero with it and he will return to normal. He will congratulate you, but of course, you can't pat yourself on the back yet, because the antidote isn't strong enough to cure the population of Eastman! Before you can process it, you have to board up the doors. There are some boards left of the door, so click on them to board the door up. Now the zombies can't get in. Once you get down, Dr. Romero will tell you the antidote is ready for processing. So turn the valve. Once it's ready, the zombies will burst through the boards. It's time for a shootoff!
Gaming the system
A whole mob of zombies will break in, lead by Joe Puddy. You will see that your friend who had the spotlight is also a zombie, so he must've gotten attacked by the zombies and couldn't fight them. Anyway, you have your Medical Gun With Antidote, so you're ready to work with Dr. Romero to stop them. But Dr. Romero locks himself in the cage again, leaving YOU to handle the dirty work, which makes no sense, because as I recall, you did pretty much everything so far. Anyway, this is where the Terror in the Garden game is gonna come in handy. You play a game a lot like it, where you have to shoot all the zombies down using the Medical Gun With Antidote. Once you have cured all the residents of Eastman, a few of the grateful citizens will come up and thank you. Well, all except Gamer Guy, who's upset that he can't just live in his apartment playing video games and drinking Valley Rain. Next, Samuel Brains, the founder of the Berry Delicious Smoothie Shop, walks up. Everyone's pretty burned up about what he did, so he offers an apology: Free smoothie certificates. Huh. Not exactly what you were expecting huh? Well, the citizens of Eastman were not happy about zombifying half the city's residents and destroying the homes of the survivors, so they chase him. Just when you think the ending can't get happier than some multi-millionaire getting attacked by a bunch of angry townspeople, you discover that in his haste, Brains dropped something, and I bet you can guess what it is. Yup. It's the Medallion.
Bonus Quest (members only)
The zombie threat has been contained, but more danger lurks beneath the streets of Eastman. To prevent an even greater outbreak, you'll need to venture into the sewers with only a flashlight... and your wits!
First 10 Finishers
- The restaurant "Wok and a Hard Place" is based on the saying "between a rock and a hard place."
- The Dorf Bean car is based on the Ford Pinto. Humorously, the Ford Pinto in real life was plagued with mechanical problems, similar to the Dorf Bean car being on a tow truck.
- Abe is seen on wall of the bakery on Ghost Story Island.
- The island is meant as a parody of horror movies, and one of the printable posters was made to look like a theatrical poster.
- In the Zomberry Island origin comics, the characters have fingers, necks, and shoes, three things real Poptropicans don't have.
- In the Cinema, the Common Room, there are a lot of humorous parody horror movie posters. At the top floor you can see "Zombie in Paradise" playing on a continual loop of one scene. Bucky Lucas from Reality TV Island apparently stars in the film.
- At one point during the Fort Savini Tunnel course, you'll see a Papa Pete's Pizza delivery truck.
- In the gamer's apartment, there is a poster that says: "La guerra de las islas!!" which translates from Spanish to "The war of the islands!"
- There is a seat in the subway that says "Hot Dog Boy was here" in reference to Ned Noodlehead, who likes calling himself "Hot Dog Boy."
- This is the first island in Poptropica to have a comic backstory.
- Dr. Romero is a reference to the filmmaker George A. Romero, the creator of the "Living Dead" film series that dates all the way back to the 1960s.
- There is a statuette of Earthworm Jim in the Gamer Guy's apartment.
- The Gamer Guy has multiple Atari 2600 joysticks, a Game Boy, and what appears to be two purple GameCube controllers on his videogame shelves.

It’s the Zomberry apocalypse! Run left and talk to the police officer on the left side of the school bus. Just as he says he is getting too old for his job, the police chief appears and mentions that Dr. Romero has been trying to find a cure for the Zombies, but the police have lost contact with him.
He asks if you’ve got the guts to do the job, and you say yes. Then he gives you a Flashlight and a Clue Notebook. He tells you that the notebook contains Dr. Romero’s phone number, address, and anything else you need to know.
(Fun fact: Dr. Romero is a reference to George Romero, an American filmmaker who began the zombie film genre.)
Anyway, climb up to the top of the school bus and enter the tunnel.
Fort Savini Tunnel
It’s almost pitch black inside the tunnel, so turn on the flashlight in your items. The flashlight will help you see better and scare the zombies a little, but you’ll need more light to scare them away. If you touch a zombie, you will run off screaming, which sets you back a bit.
Keep jumping and running left while avoiding the zombies, and stop when you see an oil truck. Pick up the Car Keys right in front of the truck.
Keep running and jumping left while avoiding the zombies until you reach a Dorf Bean car. Go to your items click “Use” on the Car Keys, and the keys will fit! Click on the car door to get inside the car.
When you get inside the car, click “lights” on the left side of the steering wheel.
After you turn on the lights, click the crank on the bottom of the tow truck that the Dorf Bean is on. The lights will scare the zombies away and you will be able to enter the Financial District.
When you reach the Financial District, jump up on to the beams, and keep jumping until you reach the top. When you have reached the top, take a right, and you will reach this crane machine.
Now, use the crane to pick up the bottom right beam. When you have picked it up, drag it to the top-middle opening in the beams. Then click on the open lunchbox you see.
You will be rummaging through trash in Joe’s lunchbox. At the bottom, you will find a Subway Pass.
Now hop off the beams and enter the Subway just to the left.
When you get inside the Subway, there will be zombies there, so try to avoid them. You can scare off zombies with your flashlight, or jump on buildings above ground level to avoid coming into contact with them.
Run left and you will reach the Subway Pass Scanner. Now, go to your items and click “Use” on the Subway Pass. It will open the door to the Subway.
Run left to the Chinatown Subway. When you reach the Subway Pass Scanner, you have to use your Subway Pass. After you use it, it will let you in the Subway.
When you get in the Subway, you will see a Light Bulb right above you. Click on it, and it will be added to your items. Continue on to the Chinatown Subway.
When you arrive in the Chinatown Subway, run left and you will see little rocks under the wheels of the train. Click on the wheels and the train will start moving again, but then it stops. After you do that, run all the way back to the right and exit the Subway.
Now, run left to the Smoothie Shop. Go inside and grab a Pamphlet.
When you exit the Smoothie Shop, run all the way to the left to Shady Side.
When you get to Shady Side, continue running until you reach 147 Park Drive. Click on the Fuse Box. Make 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 go up, and 2, 4 go down. Now you will have a straight path up the left side of the building to the roof. When you reach the roof, there’s a door. Click on it and you will be inside.
Jump up the left side of the building to enter through the door on the roof. When you get inside, there are three rooms you’ll need to enter to get clues and other items.
Room 7 (Dr. Romero’s apartment): Click on his computer to get a Clue for the Notebook.
Room 5 (Joe Puddy’s apartment): When you come in, take the Bolt Cutters next to the door. Go to the fridge and click on it to get another Clue for the Notebook in your items.
Room 1 (Gamer Dude’s apartment): Click on the trash can next to the door. Dig around in it until you pull out the can of Valley Rain at the bottom, which is another Clue for the notebook. Continue right and take the Camera on the stereo. Equip the camera so you can use it to shine a light on zombies (by clicking on it in the lower-left corner). Also, if you want to play a game (Terror in the Garden), click behind the screen. (The game is optional, but it’s good practice for later on in the island!)
After you get out of the 147 Parker Avenue Apartments, run to Chinatown. When you get to Chinatown, run left until you reach the Karaoke Bar.
Inside the karaoke bar, you’ll notice a groovy woman – DJ Saturday Nite – trapped onstage asking you to help get the zombies out of the way. Stick your flashlight up at the disco ball to the right, and the zombie will leave the disco lights. Then, click on the disco light switch to get the floor lit up and the zombies will leave.
Go up on stage to talk to the DJ, and ask the third question. She’ll leave, but you’ll notice that she leaves her laptop running and some papers behind. Click on the paper and you’ll receive another Clue for the notebook.
Now click on the laptop. The computer screen will say “Find my Phone.” Click on the “Find my Phone” icon and enter these login details:
- Username: Doctor
- Password: Awesome
It tracks the phone to a hidden bunker. Click “Unlock” on the screen. Then take a screenshot with the button on the upper-left to get a printout of the Map to Bunker.
Hint: The phone is under 147 Park Avenue (Shady Side Apartments) but you have to go through the Subway to get it.
When you get to Chinatown, run to the left. Notice the crowd of zombies around the manhole beside the Wok and Hard Place building. (Fun fact: The name is a play on the English phrase “a rock and a hard place,” to make a hard decision. A wok is a Chinese frying pan.)
Climb up onto the building, then onto the wire with the lanterns on it. Use the Light Bulb in your items and the lanterns will light up and scare the zombies away.
Enter through the manhole, and you will land on top of the train. (If you don’t, click the rocks under the wheels of the train and then try again.) Go inside the train and run all the way to the right. Click on the lever there and the train will go right. It will arrive in the Financial District. There will be a ladder right above you.
Climb up the ladder, and you’ll find the Secret Bunker to the right. When you click on it, zombies will appear. You will scream and run inside.
Romero’s Secret Bunker
When you get inside, run to the phone on the left and dial Romero’s number: 555-3946. The phone starts ringing. To your right, the phone will fall out of the caged zombie’s pocket.
Pick up Dr. Romero’s Cell Phone. If you use the phone, you’ll see some brief video clips of Dr. Romero talking about his research into the zombie apocalypse, and eventually him succumbing into its effects.
Click the scrap of paper nearby, and the final Clue will be added to your Notebook.
Now, go to the big board next to the phone. Go through your notes, and put all the fruits that people like onto the board. This is what you should have:
The blueberries caused the outbreak!
Now, all of a sudden coffee starts pouring out of the coffee machine! After it stops pouring, click on the cup of Coffee and it will be added to your items.
Exit the secret bunker and go back to Chinatown.
Go left and you’ll see that the entrance to the Wharf is locked. To get the lock off, use your Bolt Cutters and enter. Run all the way to the right and go inside the bunker marked “Do not open until 2000”. Continue to use your Camera’s flash to help you avoid zombies along the way!
Inside, you’ll see a survivalist guy who’s obsesssed will apocalypses. (Fun fact: The cyber apocalypse is a reference to Y2K, also known as the year 2000 problem, hence the sign “do not open until 2000.”) He’ll want a cup of Coffee, so give him some, and he’ll happily hand you a Keycard.
Then, you’ll ask if he can help you climb up the crates, because the zombies keep attacking you. He says yes, and he will shine a spotlight on the zombies while you’re going up the crates outside the survivalist dude’s bunker.
Man! He wasn’t kidding about shining the spotlight at the zombies!
Climb up all the crates. When you you get to the top, take a right. There will be a ledge which you need to jump on. Now, go down, jump across the platforms, and you will reach a machine.
Use the Keycard to activate the machine and see all its shipments. In the ‘Cargo’ section, look for line that mentions “blueberries”.
The blueberries came from Cleveland!
Click on Cleveland – Blueberries. The crane will start moving on the screen. Avoid the three-block-tall stacks, or you will have to start again several rows away. When you reach Row 73, the crane will stop and pick up the crate marked 73G.
Crate 73G will be at the bottom right. Exit the crane and enter the 73G crate.
When you get inside, you’ll be chased by a bloated berry-zombie (“Zomberry”), so use your Camera. The flash will blind him and you will be able to pick up some of the Blueberries.
You won’t be able to leave until he leaves, so you may have to wait a while. When you do leave, you’ll have to go back to Romero’s secret bunker to test the blueberries. As you may have noticed when you came into The Wharf, there’s a Subway right next to the Opening. So, enter the Subway.
When you get inside, scan your Subway Pass on the subway pass scan to go through.
Remember how earlier we climbed the ladder to get to the Secret Bunker? Just run to the front of the train and jump up on top of it. After you hop on top of the train, climb the ladder to the Secret Bunker.
Romero’s Secret Bunker: Part 2
When you get in the Bunker, go to the machine next to Zombie Romero and use the Blueberries with it. Crank the machine by turning the wheel with your mouse. To make the crank go really fast, move your mouse as fast as you can. The machine should look like this when you are done.
Now, pick up the Medical Gun with Antidote next to the crank. It will now be in your items. Take the Medical Gun out of your items and shoot Dr. Romero with it. He’ll return to normal and say that we need to make more to cure the entire population.
Romero says to board up the doorway because the zombies are coming. To board up the doorway you have to use the wood next to the door at the top left corner of the room.
That will hold the zombies outside for a while…
While you are boarding up the door, the doctor says that the antidote is ready for processing. Go back down and turn the crank really fast. While you are running and jumping back down, the zombies are trying to break in. Don’t worry about the zombies – even if you go really slow, the zombies still won’t get to you before the antidote is made.
After you make the antidote, the doctor runs back into the cage, so you’ll have to do all the zombie fighting by yourself. And the fight begins…
Battle of the Zombies
The battle is pretty much the same as the game you may have played earlier at Gamer Guy’s Apartment (the game there was optional, but it’s good practice).
Tip: To cure the people, hold down the mouse button instead of pressing it really fast. In the game there are about 20-30 zombies. After you cure all of them, Joe Puddy, Gamer Guy, and Samuel Brains will thank you (each in their own way), and you’ll be awarded the Island Medallion and credits to spend in the Store! Congratulations on surviving the zombie apocalypse!
Bonus quest (members only)
The zombie plague has been contained, and barrels of tainted blueberry juice are to be dumped in the sewer. – Eastman Chronicler (the town newspaper)
So a few days later in the secret bunker, Dr. Romero, the guy that lives in the 2000 box, and you are gathered together. Dr. Romero says his next enigma is how the 2000 box guy was able to live for over 13 years in a shipping crate with no outside water.
Now, all of a sudden, the 2000 box guy says “Rats!” A confused Dr. Romero replies,”You drank rats?” Then giants rats come on the screen and take the 2000 box guy away. Dr. Romero thinks this could been 10 times worse than last time, so he gives you a Super-Strong Antidote.
He says to go outside, find an entrance to the sewers, and add the antidote to all 3 pumps feeding the city’s water supply. (Why couldn’t we do that the first time?) Now exit out the top-left door.
When you get outside, the sewer is right next to the door. Enter the sewer.
Once inside, run right and jump over the rat. Push the crate out of the way. Here are the directions to get to each water pump. Do them in order:
- 1st pump: Jump over the first ledge, step onto a pipe and turn the valve. It shoots you up. Run right and you will reach the first water pump. Use the Super-Strong Antidote on it. Then you will see a zombie coming after you. Click on the valve and the zombie will go away.
- 2nd pump: Drop down from the first pump, run back over to the ledge, and drop down for a while. You will reach the second water pump. Use the Super-Strong Antidote on it. Then you will see a zombie coming after you. Click on the valve and the zombie will go away.
- 3rd pump: Jump up for a while until you see two different places to jump up (looks kinda like a Y). Take the one on the right. Slide down the rope until you reach the third pump, and use the Super-Strong Antidote on it. Then you will see a zombie coming after you. Click on the valve and the zombie will go away.
Congrats! Now you have completed the bonus quest!

- Bonus Quest: Save the City (Again)
Throughout the island, you’ll be encountering zombies. If they touch you, you’ll run away screaming. It could be worse, but it’s a hassle, so it’s best to just jump over them whenever you see them. (Note that during the Bonus Quest, the stakes are higher: touching a zombie makes you have to start over!)
PART ONE: The Tunnel
Coming out of your blimp, you land on Main Street, which on this island is a dark city street next to the entrance of a tunnel, barricaded by cars, signs, and anything not nailed down. A woman in a beret is there, Joe Puddy’s wife (from the comic book), and she tells you that her husband couldn’t get out before they collapsed the tunnels. Go left and you meet three police officers who tell you that there are hundreds of zombies on the other side of the tunnel and that no one is allowed through since the island is under quarantine. Talk to the third police officer, the one who tells you he’s “too close to retirement” and the chief will come over and ask if there’s anyone who’s brave enough to tangle with the zombies.
Talk to the chief and you find out that Dr. Romero was working on a cure, but that they lost touch with him. He had been sending video updates from his cell phone. Your mission, therefore, is to find Dr. Romero or his cell phone that contains all of his research. If you accept, he gives you a CLUE NOTEBOOK and a FLASHLIGHT and sends you into the tunnel. Jump on the hood of the school bus and enter the tunnel.
Inside Fort Savini Tunnel, the first thing you need to do is go into your backpack and equip your FLASHLIGHT. You’ll have it equipped for the rest of the island. In the tunnel, you’ll be traveling from right to left. Head left and jump up onto the hood of a green truck, where you’ll see your first zombie! There’s a brief cut scene where you’re told that light bothers zombies, but your flashlight isn’t strong enough to affect them. Still, light equals zombie repellant is good to know. Jump over the first zombie, then continue heading left. Keep going left, jumping over zombies as you encounter them, until you reach a white truck with a red flashing light. Next to the truck is a set of CAR KEYS that go to a Dorf Bean car. Grab ’em.
Continue left, jumping over more zombies, until you reach a green car on the back of a flatbed truck. Further left, beyond the green car, is a swarm of zombies that you won’t be able to get by. BUT, this green car is a Dorf Bean car. So, use your CAR KEYS and unlock the car.
Inside the car, you’ll see a steering wheel and dashboard. Honk the horn if you want, but what you really need to do is turn on the headlights, by clicking a button on the left. Click “close”. Back outside the car, you’ll see that the lights are shining too high up. Notice the lever at the rear of the green car, on the white truck? Click it to make the flatbed lower the car. Voila, instant zombie scatter. Go left and leave the tunnel. You’ll head into the Financial District.
PART TWO: The Subway
In the Financial District, you’ll find yourself in front of a large building under construction. It was the building Joe Puddy was working on when the zombie outbreak began. In fact, if you look up and to the left a bit, you can see his lunchbox. You need to get into that lunchbox to get an important item. Directly to your left are a couple of zombies. Go left, jumping over them, until you reach an orange striped construction sawhorse. Jump up on it, then jump up onto the first level of the building. From there, you’ll see a pile of concrete blocks. Using blocks like those that you find on each level as a platform, jump up from level to level until you reach the crane at the upper right of the builing. Click to activate the crane.
Moving the Steel Girders
You’ll notice that each floor of the building is made up of steel girders. In order to reach the lunchbox, you need to remove the steel girder directly above it. Maneuver the crane until it’s on the girder, then click on it. Now that you’ve got the crane, move it to the top of the building where there’s an empty space in the floor. Click again to put the girder into the slot. Click “stop”. Now you can jump down to the lunchbox, but be careful. There’s a zombie there too! Click on the lunchbox.
Use your mouse to move aside all of the trash and leftovers in Joe Puddy’s lunchbox until you uncover the SUBWAY PASS. Click to pick it up. Use the lunchbox as a platform to jump up to the right. Jump high to get over the pile of construction material.
Back at street level, head left, and go into the Berry Delicious Smoothie Shop. There’s a rack with PAMPHLETS in it. Grab one. There’s a key piece of information in that pamphlet that will come in handy later. Exit the Smoothie Shop and go down into the Subway.
There are zombies all over the platform, but they mostly stay to the right side. Jump left to avoid them and head to the subway gate. Use the SUBWAY PASS you just got from Joe’s lunchbox to open the gate. Go left.
You’re on the end of the platform, with a dangling LIGHTBULB above you. Jump up and get it, then jump down onto the tracks and run left. You’ll come upon a dark subway train. There are zombies all over the place. At the front of the train, there are rocks on the tracks blocking the wheels. Click on the rocks and the train will roll forward. There’s an open hatch on the top of the train, but you can’t reach it yet. You work in the subway is done for now. Go back right and exit the subway back in the Financial District.
PART THREE: The Apartment
From the Financial District, run left until you reach an area called Shady Side. If you look in your CLUE HANDBOOK in your backpack, you’ll see that Dr. Romero lives at apartments located at 147 Park Ave., the building right in front of you. The only way to get in is to jump up to the top of the apartment building and enter through the roof. BUT, there are zombies in almost every window and you won’t be able to get past them unless you can turn on the right apartment lights and scare them away. To the right of the entrance is a fuse box. Click on it.
The Fuse Box
Looking in the fuse box, all of the red lights represent zombies in the windows. All of the green lights mean the light is on in that apartment and there are no zombies. To create the right path to the top of the building, click on the fuses marked 2, 3, 8, and 9, so that they are “on” (they are showing their numbers). All of the others should be “off”. Click “close”.
Go to the center staircase and jump directly up from window ledge to window ledge until you reach the top of the building. There’s a door at the left. Enter!
You’re in the dingy, dark Apartment Lobby. Head left and you’ll see a door marked #7. You need to jump over the space where the top of the stairs are. It’s Dr. Romero’s apartment! Go left to his computer and click on the yellow sticky note. You’ll get new clues in your CLUE NOTEBOOK — in this case, that the good doctor’s user name is ‘doctor’ and his password is ‘awesome’. Go back to the lobby and head down the stairs. There be zombies here so be on the lookout. The next floor down on the right, you’ll find door #5: Joe Puddy’s apartment. Go in and look to the right. On the top of a tool cabinet is a pair of BOLT CUTTERS. Walk left into his kitchen, where you’ll find a note on his fridge. Click on it to get more important clues for your CLUE NOTEBOOK. Namely, Joe’s Heart Smart diet and what it consisted of. Back to the lobby and head down to the bottom level. At the left you’ll find Gamer Guy’s apartment, door #1. Once inside, Gamer Guy himself will invite you to “come chill”. How hospitable! Especially during a zombie apocalypse. Talk to Gamer Guy and you’ll find out he’s actually pretty happy, since all the zombie destruction means he has tons of time to play video games. In front o Gamer Guy is a stereo speaker. Grab the CAMERA on the top. (You can click on the TV to play a game called “Terror in the Garden”, but you don’t need to. It’s actually good practice for later when you’ll be attacked by a swarm of zombies and will need to shoot at them the same way you shoot at the mutated vegetables in this game, but you don’t need to get a specific score or anything.) Behind Gamer Guy is a trash can. Click on it.
Gamer Guy’s Trash Can
Like with Joe Puddy’s lunchbox, move the garbage out of the way with your mouse until you find the empty Valley Rain soda bottle. You’ll get more clues in your CLUE NOTEBOOK. In particular, you now know what the ingredients are of Gamer Guy’s soda.
Exit Gamer Guy’s apartment, go up the stairs and exit the apartment lobby, then jump down the left side of the building. Head left to Chinatown. You want to go left from here, but there is a mass of zombies in the middle of the road. So, jump up onto the ledge above the doorway, then jump high left to land on the string of paper lanterns hanging across the street. Jump to the left back to street level, then enter the Karaoke Bar.
PART FOUR: The Bar
Inside the Karaoke Bar, you’ll find another horde of zombies on the dance floor. And they’re not even dancing! Jump up onto the stage to meet the super-funkadelic DJ Saturday Night. There’s goodies to be had on the table — a laptop and some more clues — but Saturday doesn’t want you to touch them unless you can get rid of these zombies. See what happens when yu shine your flashlight at the disco ball directly over the stage? Go right until you can see another disco ball. Shine your flashlight on it, scaring away the zombie in front of the switch for the “disco lights”. Click on the switch and the zombies will scatter. Back up on the stage, Saturday will tell you she doesn’t know why she didn’t turn into a zombie. Then she’ll leave. Click on the slip of paper to add more clues to your CLUE NOTEBOOK. In this case, it’s a receipt for a fruit that Saturday bought from Fred’s Fruits. You’ve got all the clues you need! Now click on the laptop.
Click on the ‘Find My Phone’ icon in the upper left. Then enter ‘doctor’ for the username and ‘awesome’ as the password. Ah ha! The map shows that Dr. Romero’s phone is in an area underneath Shady Side Apartments and over the subway cars. The door is locked. Click the ‘Unlock” button.
Exit the bar, then jump high right back up onto the paper lantern wire. Go into your backpack and use the LIGHTBULB, lighting up all of the lanterns. When the zombies run away, drop down to the open manhole cover and go down. You’ll drop down on top of the subway car. Go down the hatch and head right to the subway car controls. Click on the panel to turn on the power, the click on the lever to make the car go. Once it stops, exit the car and jump straight up the ladder above you to a platform. Go right to the Secret Bunker door. Click on it to enter.
PART FIVE: The Secret Bunker
Inside Dr. Romero’s Secret Bunker, you’ll see that Romero himself is here, inside a cage, and he’s a zombie! Jump down to the bottom level and head left to the red phone. From your CLUE NOTEBOOK, you’ll see that you have Romero’s phone number. Click on the red phone and dial 555-3946. ROMERO’S CELL PHONE will ring and pop out of the cage. Go grab it as well as the receipt from the Smoothie Shop next to it — the last of the important clues for your CLUE NOTEBOOK. Go into your backpack and use the CELL PHONE. The four videos will show you that the cause of the zombie infestation is pesticides on fruit! But which fruit? Thankfully, you’ve got all the clues you need.
Go left to the white board and click on it. From the whiteboard you can access your CLUE NOTEBOOK. Check off all of the fruit that you know Dr. Romero, Joe Puddy, DJ Saturday Night, and Gamer Guy ingested:
- Joe’s Heart Smart Diet – blueberries, bananas, strawberries
- DJ Saturday Night’s fruit shopping – raspberries, strawberries, bananas
- Gamer Guy’s soda – blackberries, cranberries, strawberries
- Dr. Romero’s smoothie – raspberries, blueberries, cranberries, blackberries
Exit the Secret Bunker, by jumping up the fruit crates and jumping up to the left. That exit will take you back to Shady Side. Head left from the construction pit, through Chinatown, until you reach the Wharf.
PART SIX: The Shipping Container
The gate to the Wharf is locked. Use the BOLT CUTTERS you got from Puddy’s apartment. Enter, then go right. Jump over the zombies, heading right until you find a shipping container with a brown tarp over it. Click to enter. Inside you’ll find that a Survivalist has been living here. For quite awhile as a matter of fact. Talk to the Survivalist and he’ll tell you that he can help you climb the shipping containers by shining a spotlight and shooing away the zombies that block your path. He’ll leave after you talk to him. Exit the container and jump up onto its top, where the Survivalist is with the spotlight. Talk to him again to find out he could sure use a cup of COFFEE. Oh wait, you’ve got one in your backpack! Give it to him and he’ll give a very important KEY CARD.
From the container with the Survivalist jump up, first to the left. Basically, just follow where the spotlight is leading you. You’ll jump diagonally left up the containers and eventually back towards the right to a crane. If you fall, just start over, the spotlight will re-start with you. At the crane, use the KEY CARD. You’ll see a computer screen that will ask you which container you want to access. There’s a scroll bar in the middle of the screen. Use it to find the entry for October 22nd that originated from Cleveland (you know that from the Smoothie Shop PAMPHLET that told you blueberries are from Cleveland!) and that contains blueberries. It’s fairly easy to find, since it’s the only entry that will highlight when you mouse over it. Click on it to start the crane.
The Cargo Crane
Using your mouse, maneuver the crane left and right as the block of shipping containers come at you, trying to get the crane through spaces between the containers. It’s a bit tricky, because it can be difficult to tell if the crane is going to fit, but with a few tries you should be able to get it. Make it safely past enough containers and you’ll reach one that is highlighted. Click on it.
Outside the crane, jump down to the green shipping container. Go into your backpack and equip your CAMERA. Then click enter. Inside you’ll find a big fat zombie coming at you. You see the camera icon in the bottom left of the screen? Click on it. The camera flash will momentarily stun the zombie. Jump over him to the big pile of BLUEBERRIES in the center of the room. Click on it to get a sample.
Exit the container, head left back to the entrance of the Wharf and use the Subway entrance here. When you reach the subway gate, use your SUBWAY PASS again. Head right until you reach the subway cars. As always, jump over any zombies you encounter. Jump up on the platform to the right of the subway cars. From there, jump up onto the top of the cars. Now you can reach the ladder to get back to Dr. Romero’s Secret Bunker.
PART SEVEN: The Cure!
Back inside the bunker, you’ll find a computer at the bottom of the room, next to the cage where Romero is. Use the BLUEBERRIES and the computer will process them to find an antidote. This is an old-timey computer, so you need to use your mouse to turn a crank. When you’ve turned it enough times, you’ll get a MEDICAL GUN WITH ANTIDOTE. Use the gun on Dr. Romero to cure him. You’re almost done! Zombies are trying to break in! Jump back up to the entrance and click on the wooden boards to nail them in front of the door. Then go back down and process the antidote again, turning the crank before the zombies bust in. You’ll get another MEDICAL GUN.
Shoot the Zombies
Just like the “Terror in the Garden” game in the Gamer Guy’s apartment, use your mouse to shoot antidote at the zombies to cure them. The trick to his game is to scroll back and forth to make sure zombies aren’t getting close to you. So once you’ve taken care of a group of zombies, quickly scroll left or right to see if you can find another group. When you’ve cured enough Eastman citizens, you’ve done it. You’ve saved the town! (And yourself!)
BONUS QUEST: Save the City (Again)
In their infinite wisdom, the leaders of Eastman decide to dump the contaminated blueberries down the drain and into their own sewers. Nothing could go wrong with that, right? Of course it could. Zombified sewer rats carry off the Survivalist. More important, sludge from the infected berries is going to hit the city’s water supply, causing an even worse infestation then the first one. Your job is to rescue the Survivalist and spray antidote into the three city water pumps.
From the secret bunker, exit out the lefthand side. At the construction pit, there’s a sewer entrance. Go down.
At the bottom of the ladder is a zombie rat. Jump over him and then push the crate out of the way. Then jump down. The sewers are a maze of tunnels and pits with zombified rats, but there’s no time limit. The first water pump is located at the upper right of the room. When you reach it, use your SUPER-STRONG ANTIDOTE. Once you do, a zombie will come out of the dark at you. If he touches you, you’ll have to start over. Quickly, click on the water pump to spray it and chase it away. From the first pump, drop down heading to the bottom right. There you’ll find the third pump. Repeat the process with the SUPER-STRONG ANTIDOTE. The final pump is at the far left of the room on the bottom. The room isn’t too tricky to navigate, it just has a few deadends.
Once you’ve dosed all three of the water pumps, you’ve saved the city (again)!

Zomberry Island Walkthrough – Poptropica Cheats
The Poptropica Zomberry Island walkthrough makes you travel through a terribly zombie invested city called Eastman. Your goal is to find clues around the city while interacting with citizens of the city who have been infected.
After you have found all the clues, you need to find Dr. Romero and find out what exactly cause the infection. You will then need to create the cure and give to everyone that is infected! Do you have what it takes to save the city from the Zombies?!
Check out the video and written guide below for a full Zomberry Island Walkthrough!
Walk to the left and talk to the police officer in front of the school bus. Ask the detective if there’s anything you need to know. Enter the tunnel above the school bus. Use your flashlight to look for zombies as you walk to the left.
The zombies move pretty slow so you can just jump over most of them. You’ll pick up a set of car keys along the way. Keep moving to the left until you have found a flatbed truck with a car on the back of it. Click the red lever to tilt the car downward.
Take out the car keys you found and use them to get into the car. Turn on the lights when you get in the car. Get out of the car and walk to the left until you see an orange and white road construction sign.
Jump on top of the sign then keep climbing up the beams of the building until you get to the crane cab at the top.
Get into the cab of the crane and lower the claw to this beam above the street.
Pick up this beam and bring it straight up to the top floor of the building. Pick up the beam to the left and put it where you picked the first beam up. Jump down from the crane then jump up to the first level of beams.
Walk over to the right and click on the lunchbox. Move the sandwich out of the way and pick up the purple subway pass. Drop down to the street and walk to the left. Enter the subway and take out your pass to get through the door.
Click on the light bulb to pick it up then keep walking left until you see the train stuck on the rocks. Click on the rock to move it out of the way of the tracks then run to the right and exit the subway.
When you’re back on the street, run to the left until you see the fuse box. The fuses are numbered. This is the order you need to flip the switches: 8, 5, 2, 4. Jump up the window ledges until you get to the door at the top. Go inside and enter the first door to your left.
Click on the computer in that room and you’ll find a piece of paper that says “Username: DOCTOR Password: AWESOME”. Exit the room and go down the stairs to your right. Go into the next door you see in this hallway.
Click on the blue bolt cutters to pick them up. Next click on the fridge to pick up another clue. Exit the room and go down stairs again. Now go into the room under the hall lamp. Walk to the right and click on his trashcan.
Move the wrappers out of the way until you see a pop bottle. You take the label as a clue. Then ask your neighbor how he is surviving. Pick up the camera that is sitting on top of the speaker. Click on his computer to try his video game then exit the room.
Make your way back upstairs and exit the building. Jump back down to the street and walk to the left. When you get to Chinatown, jump onto the string of globe lights and take out your light bulb to turn them on. Then walk to your left and enter the karaoke bar.
The girl asks you to clear the dance floor because she’s trapped. Walk to the right and flip on the light switch. Ask her what to do now. Click on the piece of paper next to the plate to pick up another clue.
Then click on her laptop to use it. Click on the “Find my phone” icon and log in with the username: doctor and password: awesome. Unlock the subterranean bunker door so you can get to the phone.
Exit the karaoke bar and head to the right. Jump up on the string of lights you lit up earlier. Enter the manhole cover and go down. Then go down into the subway car. Walk to the right side of the car and click on the lever to drive the subway car.
Exit the subway car and enter the door to the right. Drop down to the main floor of the room then click on the red phone to call Dr Romero. His phone number is 555-3946. His phone falls out of the zombie’s pocket in the cage.
Pick up the cell phone and the piece of paper near the cage. Now click on the screen to the right of the red telephone. This is a chart of different food and the people who ate them. Your chart should look like this after reading through your clues.
You find out that blueberries might be the cause! Walk over to the coffee machine and pick up a cup of coffee. Now exit the room and run to the left until you see a fence that says “Wharf” on it. Take out your bolt cutters to cut the lock then enter the gate.
Walk to the right until you see a sign that says “Do not open until 2000.” Enter the doorway under the sign. Talk to the guy in the camouflage and hen exit the room to the left. When you get outside, take out the coffee to give to the man.
Now move to the left and jump up the shipping containers. When you get to the top, start walking to the right. You’ll have to use your camera flash to see where you’re going. You need to jump from wheel to wheel along the container track.
When you get across the track, you’ll see a cab to the crane. Go inside and take out the keycard he gave you. Look at the previous shipments and click on the Blueberry shipment on 10/22/12 from Cleveland.
The computer will scroll through all of the cargo containers. Stop at Row 73 and click on the box that says “73 G”. Jump down and enter the shipping container. Use your camera flash to see in the container and pick up some blueberries. Then exit the container.
Drop down to the street and walk to the left to go down into the subway. Use your card to get in the subway and keep walking to the right. Jump on top of the subway car when you see it and climb up to the door above you. Enter the laboratory.
Take out the blueberries in front of the large green machine next to the cage. Turn the crank to the right to process the sample. Take out the medical gun and shoot the doctor with it to cure him.
Run upstairs and board up the doorway. Now drop back down and turn the crank to the right as fast as you can. Pick up the antidote gun and shoot as many zombies as you can to turn them back to humans.
You saved the day, all of the zombies are gone! Everyone gathers around to thank you and the doctor gives you the Zomberry Island Medallion. Congratulations!
Zomberry Island Bonus Quest Walkthrough
Before you can celebrate too much, it’s time to do the bonus quest. The army guy gets carried off by a group of rats so you have to save him! Ask the doctor what the plan is. You need to take the antidote and dump it into the city’s water system.
Exit the lab and enter the sewer to your left. Walk to the right and push the crate out of the way so you can get down to the sewer. Keep walking to the right and use the jet to boost you up to the first pump. Take out the antidote and dump some in.
Click on the pump to spray the zombies behind you. Then head to the left and down a narrow passage to find the second pump. Dump some more of the antidote down this one. Climb back up out of the passage then over to the rope to your right.
Slide down the rope and follow the tunnel to find the last pump. Dump the last of the antidote down the pump and click it to spray the zombie again. Your army friend will appear and thank you for saving him. That’s it, bonus quest complete!
