E-ONE® DELIVERS FOUR TITAN® AIR TRANSPORTABLE ARFF VEHICLES TO CANADA’S DEPARTMENT OF NATIONAL DEFENSE

E-ONE®, a subsidiary of REV Group® and a leading manufacturer of fire apparatus, is pleased to announce the delivery of four (4) TITAN® 4×4 Air Transportable (AT) ARFF vehicles for Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of the Department of National Defense Canada (DND).

The TITAN AT meets all the performance requirements of NFPA and is specifically designed to fit on a C Hercules aircraft, allowing the vehicles to be deployed by air throughout Canada and around the world. As the latest configuration of the E-ONE TITAN product line, the AT is about two-thirds the size with a transport weight of less than 26, pounds and GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) of approximately 42, pounds, compared to 62, pounds of the full-size TITAN.

The vehicles feature the E-ONE ECOLOGIC™ foam test port which allows the vehicles to be tested without the environmental impact of dispersing foam.

The TITAN AT rigs also include the following features:

  • Cummins horsepower engine and Allison EVS transmission
  • Cushman power divider
  • Darley PSP GPM water pump
  • gallon ( liter) water / gallon ( liter) Class “B” foam concentrate tank
  • lb dry chemical system
  • foot twinned dual agent hose reel
  • Winterization package for plumbing system
  • A structural pump panel
  • Akron dual flow bumper turret and Akron dual flow roof turret
  • 5 kw diesel generator

In adding these four ARFF vehicles to its fleet which will be placed in service at military bases throughout Canada, DND worked with E-ONE’s dealer Degrees/Techno Feu.

Canada’s Department of National Defense Takes Delivery of an E-ONE TITAN ARFF Vehicle and 4&#;4 Custom Pumper

OCALA, FL—E-ONE has announced its new TITAN® 4×4 Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicle, as the first configuration in a completely new line of ARFF products. The new TITAN® series has an aggressive stance with innovative styling features and offers performance in several key measurable categories such as acceleration, braking, dynamic stability, and pumping performance.

The E-ONE TITAN® 4×4 provides:

  • POWER with an available hp engine, providing 2, foot pounds of torque for greater acceleration.
  • CONTROL with a variable rate coil spring v-link suspension and inch disc brakes as standard, coupled with dual calipers on each front wheel end.
  • STORAGE with a total of cubic feet including a full transverse compartment.
  • KNOCKDOWN with 3,gpm pump, electronic foam proportioning with patented ECOLOGIC® calibration system and multiple high-flow turret configurations including the low-attack high-flow RHINO® bumper turret.
  • PAYLOAD capacity with 1, gallons of water, gallons of foam, and pounds of auxiliary agent.

E-ONE BEGINS DELIVERY OF 49 AIR TRANSPORTABLE ARFF VEHICLES TO THE U.S. AIR FORCE

E-ONE, a subsidiary of REV Group and a leading manufacturer of fire apparatus, has begun delivery of the first unit in an order for 49 TITAN® 4&#;4 Air Transportable (AT) ARFF PC vehicles to the United States Air Force (USAF).

These vehicles are specifically designed to fit on Lockheed Martin CJ Super Hercules aircraft, allowing the vehicles to be deployed to USAF bases around the world.  As the latest configuration of the E-ONE TITAN 4X4 ARFF, the TITAN AT PC is about two-thirds the size with a transport weight of less than 26, pounds and GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) of approximately 42, pounds, compared to 62, pounds of the full size TITAN.

The TITAN AT PC meets all the performance requirements of NFPA with acceleration from mph in less than 25 seconds.  The extruded aluminum cab with square feet of glass area and cockpit style seating provides outstanding visibility for the driver, officer and crew. Each of these vehicles will be painted in a matte finish desert sand color.

The vehicles feature the E-ONE ECOLOGIC foam test system which allows the vehicles to be tested without the environmental impact of dispersing foam.
