If you need to request a copy of any accident/crash reports, the Bourne Police Department has partnered with to allow the instant retrieval of Accident/Crash Reports.  This is a third party service that allows instant access to accident reports. 

Citizens can still come to the police station at any time and request the crash report in person.  Be aware that in-person requests for most reports are not provided instantly and may take up to 10 business days to process.

At approximately 1745 hours, Bourne Police Officers responded to Clover Paving (584 MacArthur Blvd) for a report of a male that was stabbed. Upon arrival, a 32-year-old male was located with multiple stab wounds to his back and right thigh. Initial responding officers, with the assistance of a civilian, rendered first aid and utilized Quick Clot to slow the significant bleeding. The victim was transported b...y MedFlight to an area trauma hospital with life-threatening injuries.

During the police investigation, Cory James Johnson, (male, 30 from East Falmouth, MA) was identified as the individual that had stabbed the victim. Both were employees of Clover Paving. Johnson and the victim had been involved in a verbal and physical altercation which ended with Johnson stabbing the victim two times.

Johnson left 584 MacArthur Blvd prior to officers arriving. He was later located in Falmouth, MA and taken into custody by Falmouth Police. He was transferred to Bourne Police custody and held at the Bourne Police Department to await his arraignment at Falmouth District Court this morning.

Johnson is charged with Assault to Murder, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife), and Assault and Battery.

The victim is still in critical condition as of this press release.

The Bourne Police Department would like to thank all agencies that assisted with the investigation and emergency services, including Bourne Fire and Rescue, Falmouth Police, MA State Police, Boston MedFlight, and Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
