I love this system!! I had a light that was a pull chain I wanted to update it with a light that didnt have a pull chain but running electricity for a switch would have been a pain in the a**. So I bought this and the receiver with high hopes but not high thoughts. I honestly didnt think it was going to work. After wiring the receiver to the new light and getting this transmitter sending a signal out it WORKED!! I was shocked and in love. Will buy this again!!

Skylink Home wireless switches.. Anyone using them?
SmartThings is another option that can be a bit flaky at times, but is much easier to deal with. It also handles both ZigBee and Zwave radios. Unlike Vera, a solid web connection is required. It very much is biased to smartphone management, although a web based system gives you access to tweak, design your own apps, troubleshoot etc. Do a search for on my recent threads and you'll find plenty of info.
The basics are this: ZigBee and zwave are low power radio devices that create their own mesh network. This addresses their low range challenges, as most plug in (or constantly powered) devices can serve as relays for neighbour devices. battery powered devices usually do not serve as relays. You need a hub which is used at first to "include" the device. The hub also serves a role in managing the mesh network. The real power of these devices though comes in managing your devices via automations. We've cut up to 38% power consumption at two sites (one home, the other business) by creating automations that:
- enable whole building night pre-cooling
- turn off AC when zones windows are opened
- manages 5 air handlers and two HRVs based on presence, and security system so that we're running this equipment only when required.
- cut power to computers when security is armed
- turn off more or less our entire house when phone's leave the area.
- manage lighting on and off at home
- dim lights as appropriate based on outdoor ambient light.
- program locks based on time and day so cleaner for example can only access at specific times, and our iOS devices are notified when that code is used.
- manage my garage door so if left open I am notified and can close it remotely.
- handles garage "disco" lighting when my kids are partying in there
etc.
The hubs and the automations they host are key to all of this. When a security system and all of its sensors are seen by a hub, along with thermostats and zwave/ZigBee devices the path to efficiency becomes a lot easier.

SkylinkHome WE ON/OFF Wall Light Switch
QUESTION: will it work with CFL fluorescent light bulb? will it work with a ceiling fan with fjuorescent lamp? Will it work on VAC? by Conrado M 11/19/
ANSWER: Im currently using zwave now. But to answer your question. I had this switch replace a light switch wired to a fan with florescent bulbs and it worked just fine to turn everything on and off. If you plan on trying to to controll fan seperate from the light wirelessly, be prepaired to wire two switches and run additional wire to the fan. by J O a
ANSWER: Conrado, I use mine with fluorescent tube fixtures, and it works great. I haven't tried it with CFLs, but since it works with tubes, I would think it would work with CFLs as well. As for the ceiling fan, I would be careful about that. It should work the lights, but I'm not sure it will operate with a motor. And as for VACI live in the US, so yes, it works fine at that voltage. Hope this helps. by W A a
ANSWER: VAC OK don't know other, I used it on an outdoor halogen OK by R E a

By the way, I will describe the girl a little. Katya is a girl of about 22 years old, a girl with an ideal physique with 3 breast sizes and beautiful dark hair, the girl. Who is considered to be the ideal for the photo of the covers of sexy magazines. So I told her that every evening she would meet me in a pose on all fours with a collar around her neck in white stockings.
And with a phallus in the butt to the end of which a lace replacing the dog's tail would be attached and wait for further instructions.
